There is one more story i heard about Naushad sahab in Doordarshan that he use to visit a Flute seller in Dadar whenever he gets time or having problem to compose particular tunes. At that time the flute seller used to guide him about the different kind of Ragas and the way to use it. Kindly tell about this too.

One correction. Kishore Kumar never rehearsed in Naushad's house. In fact, Naushad never used Kishore and used to say Kishore is not a singer! What an irony - in 1969, Kishore and RD took over the scene, and wiped out all other singers and music directors.
Kishore Kumar rehearsed with Naushad and recoded one duet with Asha Bhosle for film Sunehra Sansar in 1977. But the director has forgot to picturise this song and it was not shown in the film. Naushad had praised Kishore that his notes were perfect so also his Urdu diction
