Update: I have just changed the center caps back to the rounded ones. Now the cube feels noticeably better, with less lock-ups and faster turning, and I added a slow lube to slow the cube down and reduce its airy feel. It turns like a GAN 12 and 14 combined, and has a comparable performance to them. By the time I filmed this video, I felt like the cube was too unstable that I changed to the more squared center caps, assuming that the cube is better than that with rounded ones. However, it turns out to be significantly worse, and I really think that GAN should check the performance of the cube w/ squared off center caps before releasing them. smh. I threw the squared caps to the trash simply because they are too trash, and no human with a right mind on earth will use this kind of caps, knowing that they’re trash.
To make the cube stable with the round caps, I use the settings of 6’6 and strong magnet (green), since the cube just too loose compared to other GAN cubes
In my own opinion i would leave the square center as default and not change it to the sharp square ones because from most of the video of the gan 15 they've all said that the sharp center peice make the cube kind of locky and catchy
I would say think about how much you like the 12, and if you want something a bit different, consider buying but if you dont wanna spend $70 the 12 is still really solid its my main
GAN 11 imo. The 11 has way less lockups than any of the newer ones, including the 12. I actually prefer using the 11 most of the time, because it’s more forgiving. Whereas the 12-15 are only really good when you turn super accurately
@@WyattTheCuber okay, but the 11 still locks up less. From my experience and various other people, we’ve noticed there’s more catching from the 12 onwards compared to the 11. Plus the 11 is much cheaper now. The only reason I’d say to get the 15 over it is if you like slightly stronger magnets, or you want the latest cubes and have money to burn. Just don’t get your hopes up with the 15 it’s pretty average. The 11 and 12 are still the most popular, but tbh even they lock up a lot if you turn aggressively. It really depends on your turning style and preferences. Most GAN cubes have a distinct light, papery, tactile feel that some people like and some people don’t

With the rounded center caps, whether the GAN 15 is better than GAN 12, GAN 14, or even GAN 13, GAN 11 really just comes down to personal preference.

You should try a lower number for the inner ring, it is more stable
this video is old, before they made the updates. the gan 15 that will ship to consumers will have the rounded centers preinstalled.
he said he changed the centers
oh ok plus he mained the V9 which is really different compared to gan cubes
This video was before the made adjustments to the cube to make it GOATED. The new cube is like an improved version of the Gan 12
very true. I own both and can see why you say this.

Maybe u can tighten the cube while using rounded centrepieces or make the magnets stronger, try 2 for center travel and 5 for maglev
The gan 12 always use yiheng tymon leo matty luke and max
Dude, are you always so fidgety and aggressive with your movements? Lol. Relax a bit.

in my opinion, yes
Yes what?@@CubeForSpeed
@@ElKsmutz Yes, Not better than the 12
It’s like a combination of: GAN 12, GAN 11, and GAN 14 Pro
Do you recommend it to me, I have a Gan 12, and by the way, good video
Gan 12 still better

Soo nice cubeee❤❤
Change the centers, you might have one of the ones with problems

@alisyed294 buddy it only lock ups when you are corner cutting from like 25 degrees

Nice honest review
Im disappointed with GAN15, bunch of lockups, not convenient setup, cube pops a lot during tension setup, definitely don’t recommend to buy
