Its that time again. Simply speedruns super mario 64 blindfolded. I'm doing an epic Mario 64 blindfold speedrun. Well, not completely - today I'm learning with blindfold speedrun pro Bubzia and completing up to Bowser 1. 9 Stars baby. Super Mario 64 120 star is what I've spent the most of my time in, but speedrunning blindfold would be intersting. Smallant can done this with Super Mario Odyssey, which was pretty cool. I think that blew up his channel. Anyways, simply super mario 64 world record was cool. cool cool. Big thanks to Bubzia speedrunning for helping me learn mario blindfolded. He did Super Mario 64 Blindfolded back in 2011 for Summer Games Done Quick. Okay bye! Mizkif mario and Mizkif Simply mario 64 speedrunning is awesome.

Remember the dude who claimed that he could blindfold run this game without any practice? That shit was already embarrassing but seeing just how intricate this run truly is just makes that horrible fake run even more hilarious than it already was.

@@magnusdice8932 Yes it is, as it would give you a whole different difficulty, no memory needed. If someone would write perfect strats anyone could just quickly play it off the audiobook.

At face value this is beyond incredible. Somehow it gets more unbelievable the deeper one analyzes what you've done here. During your run you perform hundreds upon hundreds of orientation movements, spacial placement maneuvers, and intricately exercise fine granular camera control based on whatever your current task requires. This is what I find to be the most impressive part of this achievement! All it would take is a small deviation from your planned route to become disoriented and potentially lose time or force a restart... But even when there was one of your very, very few minor missteps in this run, you immediately had a contingency in place and were able to reorient yourself to your desired spacial placement and direction.
This is beyond Super Mario 64. This is a vehicle on which you display a skill set that is something entirely difficult to comprehend from an outside perspective. I know I sure don't have the ability to commit to rote memory the kind of detail required to never miss a single step in something so insanely complex. On top of processing your exact coordinates and plane of view at nearly the rate of a computer, you still have to physically control the character and deal with the game mechanics...
This is amazing, and I congratulate you on your new personal best and of course the sick let's play. Looking forward to more content sometime. You've set the bar really high, but I have no doubt you have the determination to succeed in something even more unbelievable.

I just moved to Colorado and started a new job after graduating college in Nay. Just want you to know that this has been like the biggest move in my life and your videos have been something I’ve watched every day. I will forever associate this move and my awesome new job with your videos simply. It was the first thing I did when I got wifi 😂
This is so wild to read. I just moved states last month. It was a massive move to do by myself. For about two weeks straight I would look forward to the end of each day so I could relax in bed and watch Simply's videos. I hope you love your new home ♡.

Its cool to see the process people go through to do this insane thing. Like it was mind boggling to watch someone blindfold this game, but to see all that they have to do to make it works makes it even more fascinating and awe inspiring. Big thanks to Simply and Bubiza, this was a great video!

Is it illegal for blindplay speedruns to use a metronome or something? So many of these "beat" strats seem like they'd be significantly easier with a consistent timing mechanism rather than variable bgm beats.
