I've tried to figure out why I'm addicted to John's music (whether he wrote this song or not) - I think it's that he conveys sentiment like few others. It's supremely honest. The guitar theme is just fabulous. Every musician here is totally cool, authentic, no pretense. The dreamy girl doesn't add anything musically, even distracts, as all girls that feature in his band, because none can match his quiet intensity. But she's a dreamy presence nonetheless. The music/ sound itself makes you love the simple fact that there is music in the world.
