That is why antelope hunting is such a good time....hours and hours of glassing, then all of a sudden, walking through the sagebrush is a buck that you have no doubt is a big...then the chase and maneuvering in for a shot that you think is going to be close, but always ends up on the edge of your comfort level, and you gotta make it. Great stuff guys!

That kitchen pass extension with kids is absolutely true. Wife/mom want their kids to succeed and to have dad be there helping them do that, even if it means extending….. forever.
Finally drew a Nevada antelope tag , after 11 years. Muzzleloader hunt. Can't hardly wait. Been dreaming about doing this hunt forever. Love chasing pronghorns.
I see dust fly below and behind the buck before he takes off. Did Matthew hit it with a ricochet? Sure looks like it! Although it might have been his rear leg kicking up dust as he kicked into high gear. Good camera work Randy!

Videos are great but many of us watch them to try and learn about what characteristics make up a big quality scoring buck. I know that is in the eyes of the hunter but how about sharing something more on the animals you harvest? Length, mass, etc to help those of us trying to learn or figure judging an animal out. We see em on the hoof in your videos and briefly on the ground but with no additional info on horn or antler details to help us judge animals. Sure would be an awesome addition to your already good videos.

If it was just about filling a tag, most antelope hunts would be over in an hour. It is fun to look over as many as possible and force yourself to find one that is peculiar in some way. Maybe it is a limping buck like this one, or a big one like this one, or one with a strange horn configuration. Or, maybe it is the one that is closest and the most convenient. The great part of hunting is that the tag holder gets to decide what they want from the hunt.

Love some Nevada Speed Goat hunting. Putting in for Elk, deer and goat in NV on Monday!
