I love the 800's look, it's got the great gritty look but still with some saturated colors and smooth tones. Interestingly it has some red halation like Cinestill too.
Great contend man. Just bought a Nikon F3 to go with my sony a7ii and AIS range of lenses. Bought some Lomography film and some Ilford B&W...i absolutely loved my first shoot with film, it is so much fun ! Im definitely going to watch more of your contend as im curious about other film types out there
I don't have any questions. But I weird like to say that I enjoy ur channel a lot. Keep up the good work. I'm picking up here and there about shooting film. I would like to hear as well as what camera ur using I would like to know what lens and what were setting during that shot. Just A thought. Anyway good luck.
Do you have to let the film come back to room temperature before shooting or it’s good to go straight from the fridge? Thanks and keep up the great work!
You've got 3 Stylus Epics?? If I'm correct, that's the same as the Mju II? If so, you've got some sweet money on you, as those are rapidly rising in price!
If the film is fresh and you plan to shoot it quickly you don't need to put it into the fridge. However, all expired film and your fresh stash should be stored cold. Preferably in the freezer. Don't forget to leave it on room temperature for a while before loading. Otherwise you could get humidity into the camera and you don't want that :)
oh hey, i just listened to you non stop on the podcast for the past 3 work days. Convenient.
That 400 had a very magenta hue.
I adore these pictures! such a retro american feel to them
Thank you!!! :)

I'm digging the 800 so much.

The two pictures at 6:42 are really cool shots. I actually got an “exorcist” type vibe from it, or from the way it looks I should say
They are so good I am using an 800 speed
Really liked the look of the pictures.

I have a question, expired film is kept in the freezer or refrigerator? And if a film isn’t expired can we keep it out ? Thanks in advance

thank uuu
Great job on this comparison my man. Very thorough and detailed. I reviewed three different lomography films on my channel as well.
I really like that 400
Scott Alan thanks man! Yeah it has some really great tones! I do prefer the 800 just a little bit more though!
800 may be a good option for me in 120 instead of the extremely pricy portra 800 for camping ad walking around
Authenticity
I love grainy
The 800 is way more atmospheric
I have that camera!!!
5:59 this brought me straight back to childhood lol
Love the 800, the 400 has a bit too much purple shadow tint for me
