      The way this film stock captures blues in the natural light is stunning. I'd shoot people with it or try it with landscape. ✨

    Hey man! There are definitely a ton of great shots in this one and yes for all the car photos, keep taking them ahah! Love the shots at 2:35, definitely a great composition with a bunch of cool lines. Well done!

    The colours are just beautiful! They definitely remind me of 80s/90s family photos, especially when underexposed a bit. But I would also agree that this film stock could need a bit more light depending on the scene.
    thanks for sharing Reimann!

    2:36, 4:27 and 6:30 are easily my favorites personally, the level of grunge hits particularly hard and makes this feel like a photo from a different era much more than usual. great video as always! personally i'd definitely use this film stock a ton but that's just because of my weird preferences lol
    also 3:03 GT-R!!

      Glad you liked the photos! I definitely want to try to shoot this film at 200 iso and see what I get! I bet the grungy look would be perfect with a little more light! And yes! That GT-R has been there for at least a year. I’ve got two pics of it now lol

    Thanks for the video. To call this stuff grainy is an understatement. Also, the dynamic range is very poor for a negative film. You have to wonder what Lomo is going for with this.

    • @ReimannPembroke
      @ReimannPembroke  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! It is definitely very grainy at 400. More than I was expecting. I think this film would perform considerably better at 200! I can’t wait to try another roll and see how it does with more light!

    Quick tip from the hot humid south. You probably already know this. If your gear is cold from being inside an air conditioned space, put it in a zip lock bag and set it outside in a protected place like a garage until it reaches outdoor temp and it will be less likely to fog up.

      @ I need to do some more testing with Color ‘92. It’s difficult with these new films that they are continuously refining because the results will vary depending on the batch any given roll was a part of. I wonder if it would benefit from extra developing time.

    Saw your Japanese summilox video with the canon lens and came to watch your latest! Wasn't aware of this film stock - thanks for sharing your thoughts on it! Btw I make short moves. Just filmed one following the journey of an aspiring painter in Sweden. I'd be really grateful if you could stop by Reimann thank you! :)

    I don’t see myself buying this again especially over ultramax at the same price range tbh. I was shooting 92 in pretty high contrast environment (forest hike) and it did very poorly. It either blew out the highlights (sky) or completely crushed the shadows. Both ultramax and especially Porta 400 did WAY better. I did a few street shots too and those also turned out kind of underexposed with blown out highlights. Idk I’ll stick to hp5 for the cheap medium speed stuff

    • @ReimannPembroke
      @ReimannPembroke  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KaptainKerl it’s definitely not a very flexible film. I’m hoping films like this and Harmann Phoenix are refined over time to have better overall performance!
