    Awesome now I found the video I haven't been able to connect the LeD 🤦🏻‍♂️😅 you should put your TH-cam channel on the box or put a flyer with the product.

    if you connect to the side marker wires, your turn signals don't work when the engine is running (work fine with the ignition on though). Not sure if that's the case here also ... can't tell if the truck is running or not.

      I used 16-14 awg T-Taps from auto zone they’re like 5$ the parking light wires are 16 awg. The guy in this video failed to mention the wire size and the multi-meter is pretty much pointless!! The camera guy was standing to far back not close enough to the instructor both men could’ve done better job tbh ..the only wire you don’t tap is the blue wire

    • @blakeslocum2732
      @blakeslocum2732 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn’t use T-taps. They’re unreliable and allow for water intrusion. I cut the wires and just spliced the wires together with shrinking butt connectors. I know, more permanent, but it’s fixable if they end up breaking somehow. I left the stock bulb sockets.

    • @blakeslocum2732
      @blakeslocum2732 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Zulfburht they do have adjustment screws. The access to them is a pain in the butt though, so I just grabbed pliers and turned the screw shaft from the top. Worked perfectly fine!
      Side note I wouldn’t recommend leaving halogens in there. Others have had problems with the projectors melting. Don’t know why. I put LED’s in mine that are high quality. Cost me more than $100 but they’ve been great thus far.
      Also I wouldn’t worry about them freezing over. High-powered LEDs still put off a decent amount of heat (thus mine have a heat sink and fan on the bottom) and I literally drove through a snow “storm” yesterday and had no issues with any of it. 👍

      @blakeslocum2732 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Garret3579 I wouldn’t recommend t tap connectors. They’re unreliable and are not water tight. I used but connectors with glue and heat shrink built in. It’s more commitment but way higher quality. Since the original plugs are still in place it’s always reversible.

      what he doesn't tell you is that you need to replace the turn signal relay with an LED compatible one. they flash quickly because the current going through the wires is too low with the stock relay and the system thinks something is wrong.
