Sasha’s parents being divorced, she was kinda sassy and she is white washed and light skinned and the doll was not. Yasmine, Im not gonna lie when I was younger I believed Yasmine was of Hispanic or Latino decent but apparently according to the movie they mixed completely different cultures in like the stereotypical mariachi band which could portray her as Latina and then Bubbie which according to the comments is Jewish and then I hear that Yasmine was originally supposed to be Middle Eastern and something else implies she might be biracial or multiracial. I just might chalk it up to her being Ambiguous and she could potentially be all three (oh yea all Latino families just have mariachi bands playing in their house BULLSHIT) Jade, her parents seemed to put a lot of pressure on her to be into a certain thing (her mom sounds like a a tiger mom once again STEREOTYPICAL) I also didn’t think Jade was Asian as a doll but maybe I just never payed attention to it like that because I only ever had one Jade doll and multiple of the others.
