116:112 was a fair score. Usyk outlanded Fury in most rounds and to my eye, he landed more eye catching shots too. The mainstream UK media should be ashamed of themselves with their straight up propaganda. Commentary on TNT was also crazy biased
I agree. The way Frank Warren composed himself after the loss Fury took, was absolutely disgusting. In Usyk's moment, he gets in the ring and cries over the scorecards. Also, Ade????? @@johnmartin7158I agree with the excuses. I hate the fact the word “robbery” is now used every time the media’s favourite loses. Fury didn’t do enough at all in the fight. The most I can say about Fury’s performance is that his defence was better than the first fight, but the fact he put on extra weight and didn’t utilise it at all. George always has great analysis. So glad that Usyk won, he is such a great champion. The strength also in that fight to shove Fury off. The right man won 110%
There’s always been an unwritten rule in championship boxing that the challenger has to be the aggressor and outwork the champion. It’s challenger’s job to take the belt and the champion’s job to defend it. Anyone watching that fight last night would be forgiven in thinking those objectives were completely reversed.

Fury's biomechanics doesn't enable him to throw fast combinations and maintain perfect balance like usyk, joshua, dubois and parker. Too much body fat around the waist = less hip rotation. He stumbles and fall over his feet when he over-reaches more than these guys mentioned above. His body is disproportionately built. He's susceptible to counter-punches when he fights slick-footed boxers with good coordination. Hence why he looked a million dollars against wilder (no technique) and whyte, chisora (slow-footed plodders) yet he looked terrible against wallin( who displayed quick footwork and hand coordination) even though fury was at his quickest speed due to him being at his his lightest weight since his 2018 comeback.

The rounds were close, but the fight wasn't, if that makes sense! Usyk has Fury's number. They could have 10 fights and Usyk would win each one of them.
For me it wasn't that Usyk's feet were worse this time around but that Fury now always expected Usyk to step outside of his lead foot and prohibited that from happening by slightly turning (a bit like Linares against Loma but far more minor turns) and taking minor steps back to create space in between them. But then again, I also saw a more hesitant Usyk that didn't jump at every opportunity presented to him. Was he cautious or has his age started to affect him? I really didn't see "the closer" that Shawn Porter was talking about.
