This is the second home in which th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU we've replaced our "regular" doorbell with a Ring video doorbell and we really enjoy it. It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).
please help me, when I press 0000- lock-0- Lock it only opens to the right and I need it to go to the opposite side
I believe you just have to take the back off, rotate the lock lever to the other position, then put it back on. It's been a while since I read the directions...
Mine stays locked after first step but yours locked then unlocked I don’t understand been trying for 45 damn minutes
FYI: this works, But make sure you delete that user code 1234 because my brother tried that 1234 and the code we made. Both worked. So on the back of that instruction paper there should be an instruction of deleting an existing user code! Thanks for the video

During the rh or lh learning, deadbolt never comes out. Any ideas?
Help! When I hit the lock button the deadbolt locks then it retracts about a half inch. I notice yours did not do that. How do I fix that?
Mine only works with the key in the deadbolt. If I lock the door and remove the key it malfunctions. Lock is a joke!
mine won’t even learn what side of the door it’s on it winds out all the way open and just clicks lmao. maybe i did something wrong? i followed the directions. i hate it

It’s keeps giving me a error when I start programming do you know why?

The only problem I see with this type of lock is that it uses battery power to move the deadlock. There is another kind which simply frees the lock so the user can undo the deadlock by twisting the handle/grip him/herself. Makes a huge saving on batteries and last for ages as opposed to this type which does everything and runs out of batteries real fast

This is a helpful video and the lock seems to be well made. Just keep in mind the deadbolt will have to be able to freely travel into the latch with no resistance. In my case we had a door that had to be pulled firmly against the weather stripping and this lock will not work in that situation.

Any reason why you would not be acle to use your existing deadbolt so that you could still have only one key matching your other manual locks? The existing one looks identical in size
How do I set the UC to this model? I am having trouble setting them up. Waste of money. try to return back. Not user friendly at all!
My lock was unlocking fine, but I could not figure out how to get it to lock from the outside. Nowhere in the instructions did it say how to operate the thing, only how to install, program, and troubleshoot. Apparently to lock it from the outside you just push the lock/unlock button only. Don't enter the code first or it will just blink red three times.

Ok we got it all set up we try the pc code put it in then we get three beeps with red lights please help cant get to the point to the 1234 code bc pc code isn’t working for us

The default code is still in effect idk how to erase it from memory I lost my I instructions…… basically had two codes the default and the new one

To delete an code is ur number the lock then 2 then lock then the number u want to delete then lock
And it should be good

Where did you see the directions from the code. In my instructions it didn't say anything at all. I want to be able to change the programming code so someone can't just overwrite my code to enter
I think it was down at the very bottom of the front page of the directions. I recall it almost looked like fine print that you wouldn't think was part of the directions.
@@willeval Lowes had then on sale 2 for 69.95. they're were two sets of directions. One to install and one for code. I just found it lol
