There is a lot of discrepancy regarding the points. The total points should be : Porsche 911 (I don't know the complete name ) - 19 Buggatti Chiron - 29 Lamborghini Sian - 26
You have thr same totals after basics functions and after transmission s, so you don't sum one of them : final results should be 18 29 and 27, don't change order but seems must accurate.
I have all 3. I think of the 3, the bugatti is my favorite, due to the gorgeous color, the uniqueness of the W16, and the function of the rear wing. That said, the scissor doors of the Sian are a standout feature, and I have to give props for no stickers, even if it means the interior isn't as detailed. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the angle and ratio of the steering columns, however. The significantly cheaper Land Rover Defender had an angled steering rack, with a 360 degree steering range lock to lock. The Supercars all have their columns parallel with the floor, and are only 180 degrees lock to lock.
Having just built the Lambo I think the colour issues are related to Lego starting to make some pieces from sustainable plastics. Some pieces seemed to be a slightly softer plastic and it was these which showed a difference in colour. Not just the green pieces, but I also noticed it in some of the red and black pieces as well (though possibly less pronounced). It may be less of a QC issue and more of an issue with how different plastics interact with the pigments used. Have to say though, the differences didn't really bother me at all.
The Porsche being the first one and the designers having no clear template at first, they did really good and really improved after it with the Bugatti and Lamborghini
I would like to point out that the Porsche's instructions have an error in them that messes with the functionality of the transmission. There was a correction made on their website, but I don't remember where or when exactly it happened.
Finished my Sián a couple weeks ago. Totally awesome. My Chiron is still in the box after two years but it’s getting built next. I’m also making offers for the Porsche on eBay. And when I look at the Sián as a whole, I don’t even notice the different shades of green, and I’m seriously ocd.
Another thing that I noticed about them is that they are released two years from each other. And who knows? Maybe in 2022, we'll get a yellow Supercar set.
Wait, Porsche are the only ones willing to show you how the real car is being built? I think that should make its instructions book rank a little higher.
I built 42115 yesterday And I have 3 things to say 1: it’s by biggest set I’ve ever built 2: it’s huge, a lot more as it looks on video(it’s hard to imagine but it’s Length is same as width of standard fridge ), u can use it like dumbbell 3: it perfectly matches with my cabinet bcs it’s like too (I just wanted to say my opinion about this set somewhere 😅)
The two big ones for me that put chiron over lambo. First is actually a few things for build experience. I dont have a lot of build space, so it was a joy to be able to pull each box out one at a time with chiron, and put it back reversed when I got the next. Having to completely unpack lambo is pretty ick. Podcasts are also nice while building. Videos make it a separate experience. Then the one thing is finished. The front and rear profile detailing on Sian looks so lackluster. The rear on the chiron is rich and gorgeously made. The sian stick headlights and boring exhausts... You didn't even put the tires on correctly on the Sian. On the outside part of the wheel the rubber stays tucked in too much! Clearly noticable at 23:47
Sian is not bad thanks to 911 and Chiron's errors. And the 911 suffer because it was the first. As you said, the Sian is an evolution of the Bugatti. But nice work ! Especially for a week of job !! You always produce high quality review !
I couldn’t disagree anymore with you! I’d put that Chiron last, the body looks awful with plastic tubes everywhere! Then it would be the Porsche as it was the first in the series and looks great in that orange, first place has to be the Sian in that beautiful colour and crazy sharp lines and it by far has the best presentation and box.
I totally agree with you. The Bugatti has some flaws with the suspension, the W16 isn´t actual a W16, the hoses and other parts look ugly in light bluish grey, and it has no prints but double stickers compared to the Porsche. And it is way to expensive for that value it brings. That´s why the Bugatti would be 3rd in my ranklist. On 2nd follows the Prosche. The Porsche has also al lot of stickers, but not that much as the Bugatti, it has some flaws in the gearshift, but the suspension works fine, it looks better in orange/black, and the price was more sensible than that of the Bugatti. The Sian would be my winner, it has no stickers, all is printed, the technic funktions looks fine, but it is also very expensive, especially with this huge colour issues. That´s why i won´t buy the Sian in next future. But who knows, if Lego fixes the colour issues maybe next year?
I think that the Sian is second because it looks nothing like the original car and there are too many design flaws not to mention the fact that some of the instructions are incorrect and do not match up.
You do have to keep in mind the porsche had 900 less parts then the chiron and that the chiron and sian cost 50-80€ more (also its the first of the 3 so i thing the porsche deserves a bit more credit)
Correction: Chiron and Sian used to cost more. Now that Porsche has been out of production for 2 years, it sells on the second-hand market only and rarely drops below $400.
Awesome soundtrack at start! My personal thought is that Lambo is the best one out of them. Best box, best design, best functions, great color but Bugatti colors are even better.
At least a year after its initial release, I bought the Sían. I can confirm that the colouring issues are no longer present (at least in the one I bought). It was lime green throughout. Either Lego fixed this issue in their latest batch, I just got lucky… or I’m just colour blind. Overall, for my first Technic hypercar, I’m very pleased with it. ☺️👌
I like how he didn't give extra points to the porshe for being the first lego supercar and the sian for having scissor doors. In my opinion all are considered equal
Lamborghini Sian has massive color inconsistency problem, despite relatively the high price. So, make sure you know what you get, if you plan to buy it. Personally, I would go either with the Porsche or Bugatti.
The one thing keeping me from buying the Sian is that there seems to bee too many blue pins visible on the set, in the bugatti it wasnt a problem since the car itself was blue, but the blue spots of the pins are too visible on the green sian
The thing that I dont understand is, how has the Sian got more pieces than the Chiron, and therefore should be heavier, but the suspension works so well where the Chiron just practically collapses under it's own weight?
25:40 the interior says "Divo" in the stitching, I think you got the wrong picture. Otherwise great comparison. The Lamborghini really looks phenomenal. Hopefully the color issues will be sorted out as time goes on.
Just got the Sian today and I'm already loving it. I don't regret skipping on the Porsche or the Chiron. I absolutely agree that Porches just look too similar. That being said if Lego actually got the license again from them, and did an LMP-1...I'd be in heaven. The Chiron's design just doesn't excite me. I guess I'm just not sold on it's look. The Sian though...always been a bit of a Lamborghini fan ever since Transformers. I love Lamborghini's designs. They have these angles and edges to them that make them look very aggressive. Definitely my favorite!
The tally for the Transmission is the same as for the Engine. Think you displayed the wrong picture since not only are the totals the same, but the amount of points for each car are the same too. I think the Chiron should have gotten more points for it's transmission than the Porsche did.

was really informative, liked the video but it looks like you forgot to add points for the transmission, the totals didnt change between basic function and transmission.
Don’t think there’s much comparison here as each car is built for different purposes. Lego also improved where they went wrong in some areas. Another issue with chiron is where the engine is placed, it’s too far back. Porsche has incorrect shifting order (luckily can be fixed with a gear changeover) The suspension problem on chiron is because of the friction pins over-stiffening the suspension arms, but even still real life supercars don’t even have that much suspension travel anyway. Interior also looks ugly on each model (including chiron) because in the central column is shaped incorrectly thanks to the D-N-R selector, and the steering column looks even worse thanks to the paddle shift system, which two of the real cars don’t even use. Chiron: 7 speed dual clutch, semi automatic or automatic shift Sián: 7 speed dual clutch, semi automatic shift Lego should’ve made lever shift transmissions rather than paddle shift because it impacts the looks negatively, and a D-N-R selector is just useless when your car is only really gonna go forward or sit on its ass all day doing nothing anyway. That being said. If Lego are gonna make these models they need to improve on interior styling, make transmissions lever shift, improve on the way they position the steering wheel and include removable hog function. Good comparison 👍
Any idea if Lego has fixed the color issues of the Sian and if any future batches have been made yet? How many batches of Sians have been released so far? Just one?

Great comparison video... I missed my chance on the Porche, and forums and groups really make it feel like a missed opportunity, but after seeing this, I feel good just having the other two. As a note, the Chiron has a simple fix for that front suspension, and with no additional parts. Just need to swap out the two creme 3L frictionless pins with the two blue friction pins holding the suspension arms. It works perfectly after that. Also, the Sian rear wing falls back down after sitting for some time... Perhaps minutes or hours, haven't timed it.
Onestly you seem to have no idea of cars. Even the title is wrong, the only Supercar in this trio is the 911 Carrera GT3 RS, the other two are Hypercars!
I agree with the pointing system but I think the Porsche should be brought up with some bonus points, in the end it is the model that showed Lego and us all that the technic supercar models can be spectacular and what can be built to further steps.
I wish Lego would silk screen more of their parts. I never ever apply a single sticker. I have seriously considered scanning the stickers, making a stencil, and painting my parts though.
That sounds like a good idea. The problem is that the red shock absorbers are actually the same stiffness as the yellow ones, so there won't be any difference.
I really want to buy the Lambo, but the color issues are worrying me. I heard that LEGO will send you new parts if there's issues with those, but can anyone confirm it to be true? Although I don't know if new parts would really help if they come from a different patch anyway.

@@searme Thanks! can you record a video of the cars turning at a stop and while driving?
I'm pretty sure my video reviews of these sets show that already, so no.
Everybody’s a gangsta until chiron doed the wing thing.
25:34 you showed the Divos interior and not the Chirons

1:37 that doesn't look like 6 boxes to me :P
16:00 this looks familiar...
The porsche’s rear wing was attached wrong, you can actually bend it forward like the real spoiler
Great comparison although picking up heavy models like these by the roof should probably be an obvious no no.
Great review !! Looking for a lot of time to build my Chiron and Sián..
Lego could just take the hard shock absorbers from the Sian and install them in the Chiron... maybe that would fix the suspension issue.
That sounds like a good idea. The problem is that the red shock absorbers are actually the same stiffness as the yellow ones, so there won't be any difference.
I personally like the Lamborghini, it looks more finished.
the ending thing for the transmission and basic functions are identical
I have a Land Rover Defender lego. Planning Chiron next!
Wonderful detail in this comparison review. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done.
Been waiting for this thx for the great review
Remember also Porsche sets are going for insane prices, since they are the oldest set and unopened.
The chiron because they made a life size version that actually works and its beautiful
The Lamborghini is Amazing
I really want to buy the Lambo, but the color issues are worrying me. I heard that LEGO will send you new parts if there's issues with those, but can anyone confirm it to be true? Although I don't know if new parts would really help if they come from a different patch anyway.
Does it possible to equip this cars with an electric engine and some kind of controller and have them driven by remote?
It's LEGO. With enough modifications almost anything is possible.
Sariel's LEGO® Workshop any suggestion on that topic ? Where to look for that ?
Have you forgotten the Sian’s scizor doors you can open them with a lever
No, I haven't. I'm showing them in this video.
Sariel's Bricks & Pets I mean when you didn’t mention them in the functions section
@@georgestanley9548 13:31 functions: Sian has lever operated scissor doors. He does show it in the function section
Pagani Huayra ;)
AWESOME IDEA
YES
That would be awesome.
Koenigsegg one:1 too
Hey, you used the same music as in your review of the 911 GT3 RS.
IKR
LOL
Awesome video as always. Love the hamster inclusion. Any speculation on the next supercar? Thanks for your videos.
