Some just do it for sport too it seems, _beating_ babies to death. I seriously wonder wth even goes up into someone's brain to do this, if they're healthy before something must end up damaging them after awhile anyway for sure! My uncle used to work in a slautherhouse where they would kill cows with no pain and still he said after awhile all of them were really emotionally drained (even though they rotated the men in order for them to not kill more than twice a week or so), said if he had to be there for more he would probably go numb, as it was already starting to happen (sort of what happens with some porn actresses where they have to 'shut down' their emotional conection during sex and then later on they can't '''put it back on''' - don't know english enough or the cientifically words for what I once read about this sorry). Such a nice story. Thank you to the groups who help these animals out. It's to bad we're damaging the environment making animals lives more difficult to survive.
One thing about rescue turtles is that the rescuers can attach a satellite to their shells and monitor their progress after they are released. Really wish there was the technology to do this for other rescued marine life. It would be lovely to know that Marshmallow is still safe and living her best life!
Penelope Collet There is that technology. I've seen it on TV with whales. dolphins and I believe turtles. The group who saved Marshmallow is probably not connected to one of those groups....it requires funding, equipment, and tracking. Maybe you could research it. Try Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Massachusetts, maybe.
Penelope Collett I know, thought when little Marshmallow swam off that who knows what will happen to that baby....that's why I hoped he would find other seals....safety and strength in #'s....plus happiness!
Thanks Susan Murrell, I have an idea tho, that they just tag dolphins and whales. They don't fit any device, but I will look up the site you suggested. Thanks. Certain wildlife on land, as you probably know, have GPS collars fitted so that they can be tracked, but in the ocean I only know of turtles being tracked via satellite. I'll have a look😊

@Anonymous Anonymous everyone gets needs meet this way Wow you're fantastic! Love to you wealth wisdom strength and much happiness too on your journey
As a volunteer worker myself, I cannot say enough how important and yet underrated volunteer work is. I "only" work together with other teens and young adults in my age at our local community Centre. We organize social events, field trips for kids and teens, learn through group discussions how to improve our work etc. It is actually similar to the work of the volunteers in the video. You learn to take responsibility, to constantly care for the beings around you, and to make sure everything turns out well in the end.
To the volunteer workers: thank you. Thank you for taking care of marshmallow. Thank you for doing hard work simply for the reason of caring and empathy. Thank! You! 💙
hear hear
That’s great work that you are doing. We have a lot of faith in the youth of today, you are our planet’s ray of hope.
Here's to everyone caring for the beings around them! Thank you your actions change the planet ✨💓✨💓✨💓✨💓
Thank you all for your kind words! I, too, hope that more people, especially in my age, become more aware of their environment and community 😊💙
He was with them for nearly 3 months 🥺 i’d feel sad if i were to let him go but i know it’s what has to be done

WHOEVER DISLIKED THIS VIDEO ALL 273 OF YOU HAVE NO HEART OR SOUL
KODI it’s not because of that people may not want this in their recommended but they get it though so to get it out they dislike it don’t call somebody you don’t know a heartless scum for disliking a video omg people are stupid nowadays
Both of you do realize those are trolls right? Like disliking barely does anything lol it only keeps the video out the recommended list if the ratio is somewhere near 1 like:2 dislikes plus it actually helps the video whether u like or dislike because it means it means u watched the video carefully to rate it meaning it makes the video show in your home page MORE
@@Bacon00024 your stupid
@@Bacon00024 You don't click "dislike", you click "Not interested". The "dislikers" are predominantly unhappy children with a need for superficial attention.
@@Bacon00024 if they don't want it in their recommendations before they click on the the video they can click on the 3 dots and click not interested
I hope he finds some other seals
so he's not by himself. Amazing how they saved him. ❤❤
@Caleb you just gotta be a debby downer don't ya
@Caleb..being pessimist is different from a realist..i know that because i'm a realist & when don't comment such a pessimistic point of view when there's a celebration of life..
Yea😞
@Caleb...deal with it? ..as i said, you're not realistic, you're just a mere PESSIMIST, in case you don't notice that..
Him being vocal, so cute ♥️♥️ I hope he lives long enough to tell the tale of his raising 🌺
“Marshmallow is ONE of the babies that they saved”
These people are amazing! 😊
interesting how the premature seal was the one dominating the fish pool
Just shows how Gen Z is better than boomers.
TheAverageNoob.... sounds about right lol. I was only 4lbs 13oz at birth due to my mother being critically stressed! But here I am today by the grace of God... according to my mom I gained so much weight after my first month of life....I was chunky
Epoh Ecnatsnoc.. That's a very true statement... Resilient we are 😉
Lmao this comment is rlly funny if ppl get the humor of it 😂
Maybe the mature ones took care of him and let him eat more food
Faith in humanity restored ❤️
Thank you for your strength Baby Marshmallow, your commitment animal rescuing team, and your reporting The Dodo
i'm really starting to get along with these random youtube recommendations.
I return to this channel often when I begin to lose hope.
Lol
😢me too
Fucking same dude. This channel always restores my faith in humanity. Even if its just a bit.
I am lost for words. So touching. Lots of love to Marshmallow. Kiss kiss kiss
Marshmallow will return to the wild with crazy stories no other seals will believe. AKA: "I was raised by hairless aliens that did weird things to my body everyday."
LMAO
LOL! for real... like, "These aliens abducted me, put me in their "space ship," where we were transported; did weird things to my teeth, kept rolling me over when I was tryin' to _sleep_ ... put tubes down my throat... it was *WILD* !!!" And then legends will be born in the sea-community of tall, pale-looking, hairless aliens that "abduct" seals and experiment on them before releasing them back where they were abducted from 😂👽😅 ETA: Marshmallow is so CUTE!!! 🥰❤️
He’s in the wilderness but forced into it. I doubt he found another group and likely perished or became food honestly.
@@alejandrotobienne584 tbh no one asked

Marshmellow is sooo adorable !!! Sooo cute !!! Im in love ! Thank guys for saving the cute little pup !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pup? It's an seal (not trying to be rude)
I have never seen a seal with his fur fully dry. This is so interesting to see how fluffy he is when he is dry.
For all the people saying he was eaten....who knows what happens in nature, but can't we hope for the best? Do you really feel good about yourself putting such a negative comment on a feel-good video? What possesses people to have to put a mean spin on everything. You could have just as easily kept your stupid comments to yourself.
Kids trying to be edgy
if u followed up, he got eaten after a couple days
@@uno9915 really! Please send me the link to the video,I don’t believe in this
I agree. It's so stupid. To all the jerks: Keep your stupid comments to yourself or go find a different video - one more suited to mean-spirited people. How come people can't just be *KIND* for once??? 😤😡That's why I love most animals more than most people... 😤

This is one animal that touches my heart. And it truly disturbs me how they are CLUBBED TO DEATH!! Im so happy you rescued him and he's a survivor.. Thank you RESCUE TEAM.. KUDOS
Linda M help them and donate to groups that advocate against killing of seals!!
@YE ET well unfortunately there seems to be alot of people in the world today who think killing / torturing/ clubbing/ poaching/ hunting/ etc as the list goes on. The Wild is able to take care of it's own.. Orientals boil live dogs. Slaughterhouses real barbaric. But again it's the SYSTEM::: governments allowing this behaviors... So until they step in / step up we all in trouble.... Human and animal. ECO SYSTEM WILL DERAIL...
Linda M but good people can make a difference! We don’t have to sit idle and do nothing. We donate, protest, organize, speak up, advocate for animals!! Please do something and encourage others the same!!
@@MeimeiLovesmusic i never disrespected any good people.. I do not sit idle doing nothing.. I advocate / donate/ rally/ etc... And i absolutely VOCALIZE. So ya id say i do my part... Im aware of a whole lotta of ppl / rescues who volunteer/ foster etc... Im expressing what i find to be a problem in this world.. And i will continue to do so...
Linda M right on!! Glad to hear it! Bravo for helping animals! This planet is their only home! Humans will trash this planet and move to Mars ... but wildlife cannot ;)
In Korean, seals are literally “water dog.” Water in Korean is “물.” Dog in Korean is “개.” Seal inKorean is “물개.”
It's a perfect name :)
I find adorable how the two symbols combine to form "water dog".
in German it's called "Seehund" which translates to "Lake Dog" or "Sea Dog"
😊🤗
if anyone's curious, it's pronounced mul-gae in korean :)
I just wish the world was full of more people like you guys...
When dear Marshmallow becomes old, when he recollect memories from his early years, he will remember there are some nice beautiful-hearted humans out there who accompanied him for the first few years of his life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Poor darling. It's amazing how baby animals can bounce back with human/animal love and care. It's like the light was dimming and going out and then love and care came in and the light of life got stronger and stronger. God bless all the people who save animals. YOU ARE MY HEROES!!!

What a gorgeous boy, so glad he did well, lets hope he is out there having a good life.
One thing about rescue turtles is that the rescuers can attach a satellite to their shells and monitor their progress after they are released. Really wish there was the technology to do this for other rescued marine life. It would be lovely to know that Marshmallow is still safe and living her best life!
Penelope Collet
There is that technology.
Penelope Collett
I know, thought when little Marshmallow swam off that who knows what will happen to that baby....that's why I hoped he would
find other seals....safety and strength in #'s....plus happiness!
When I see these stories I always imagine the animals getting released and thinking... where am I, and wanting to go back to their human friends
I imagine him returning to the beach after awhile just to see his hoomans not there anymore... like I wonder how Marsh wud feel tbh 🥺🥺
