Hi. My question is, if the extra credit points earned vary, will I have to create multiple extra credit assignments in order to give the extra points they earned. For example, 1 student may have earned only 3 extra points while another student earned 5 points, and another only 1 point. Didn’t want to say 20/20 if they only have 3 points extra credit, etc.
Great Question. Regardless of the total point value of the Extra Credit assignment, you can award the student what they've earned. If they earned 5, you can input 5. Another thing you can do is set the point value to zero. This way, you can still give them 5 points and it won't come in as a Red grade. Be sure to set the grade display as points in the assignment settings.
