I had originally bought a Shark IQ Self Empty. The experience was horrendous! The first one had a failure in 6 days and I exchanged it for another one. The second one and the first one would never map at all either. I took it back and bought the same one he has. It is awesome and blows away the Shark in every way.
These vids really are informative and actually save me 💴. I like the idea that you don’t have to touch this one. I’m only in 800 square ft but this looks like a deal

Never had a robot vacuum. It’s pretty cool! The map feature, makes me wonder though, how many scammers in India or wherever, are getting ur house floor plan? I’m using a 1981 Rainbow vacuum (best vacuum I’ve ever had.)
You always review some cool ass products. Black is the best color on earth by the way. But how is the suction for dust and debris compared to like a Dyson Cordless V8 or V10?
Enjoyed the video! I'm interested in getting one of these, but have a question. When you showed it cleaning your office, it looked like it was vacuuming over dirt but not picking it up. Was that dirt it was missing, or was that just camera reflections?
Try Ecovacs T8 or Roborock. You’ll never go back with IRobot. The i7/i8 are good too but for the price you don’t get the technology that ecovacs and roborock have.

The i8+ is exclusive for Costco... From exoerience i think it is the same as the i7+ but the 8 just means its Costco exclusice. ALL roombas that Costco has sold have an exclusive model number. Like my mom has the 985 and i had the 525. Both Costco exusive with the original model numbers being 980 and 520 i think. SAM'S Club does the same.
It looks like the best option is to get the newer i9+ which is even BETTER! I am thinking of sending my i8 back to Costco and ordering the 9! Here it is - amzn.to/31sKgeJ

Videobob Moseley the S9+ is great especially for animal hair. Moving the front caster wheel to the back, behind the rubber brushes, so it’s driving on clean floors is brilliant. Before, I was always having to clean my golden retriever’s hair out of it otherwise it would stop spinning over time.
I have my roomba i8 plus 3 days now. I wanted to test the mop part. I added plain water and I started it. It keepa tells me error all the time and empty the bin... bin is empty and the part hasn't been used at all. Brand new. I also noticed that after I added the mop part to my roomba it asked me to empty the bin. I pressed it and it actually started to suck it 2 times. I noticed that inside the trash bag there was also water... Does anyone has the same issue???
We have also Roomba, not the camera model, but it does Suck! No matter what kind of carpet, it will suck it!!!. This does not clean itself and that camera/map option will be next one. Can limit where not to go!
One more thing... I have 3 kids, does the roomba pick up only dust or can it get candy wrappers? I’ll prob have to ex out my teens room or it will constantly get stuck. Lol

I have a Roborock S5 max I love it o use it downstairs where there’s laminate flooring I use the mop feature too. I love it. I’ve done my research and I know that this Roomba i8+ will be the best for my second story where it’s all carpet. Tried shark 👎🏽
Reconsider paying that much for one of these things and discovering you can no longer use it in an apartment because, as of today, the people above me will not be running it for 8 hours/day while they're gone. I'll grant them 1/2 hour/day with it or I'll be firing up a buzz saw for an hour when I get home from work at 4am. I'm not sure what model they have but I'm sure it's one of these things that also GRINDS when it runs along a wall or hits something. Nobody vacuums their house for 8 hours/day. Furthermore, these apartments are 750 sq.ft. If you're 32 years old and THAT lazy, you've got a long, bumpy road ahead of you. Then they fired that thing up on Christmas Day. Oh, F to the hell NO. Not today!

It may not be able to match a real vacuum but for little debris and car fur it does fine

Those couple of spots are glue stains that are stuck, I need to cut them out of the carpet, they drive me nuts!

Scan the QR code on the mopping element using the app. The app needs to know that you add the mopping element.

It is practical if you can afford it, especially if you have a cat. This is the most automated cleaning device I have ever seen.
