"Brendan, you were supposed to say nothing, it's the title of the bleedin' show!"
Brilliant show, highly recommend. I've heard the book was even better. I was surprised there was no mention at all of Martin McGuinness. Very strange.
Yep I agree and who playes Dolours is real hot too!!

But the dark was a true true man, not like the blaggers who never don't anything. The dark, was dark but he knew belfast was corrupt, so was south armagh but they didn't tout on their family
As olusual the book better than scriptwriters!

Why did the guy’s own wife tell on him?
She thought they would understand and help them
Because she’s a republican aswell and the cause is of equal importance as her man
The cause above all that's why
Yours
Because he was betraying his friends and comrades.
Is Northern Ireland still dangerous because they filmed this show in England?
No lots of things are filmed in northern Ireland including line of duty and blue lights. Theres lots of reason behind location choice it's nothing to do with NI being unsafe as it's not.
Yes the police and uvf still murder catholic
Lot of Troubles stuff gets filmed in Northern England because there is areas that better resemble 70s Belfast that the city itself today (which has changed dramatically)
That shot in the first 10 seconds with the red brick houses was filmed off the Donegall Road in Belfast.
No not at all they filmed this in England in an area that resembled the old lower falls road in the 70s have to say its spot on from what I remember as a kid, a few areas scenes were filmed here the bridge at tates avenue and the back of the black mountain to name a few
