Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Memories In Rock, released on November 18th 2016. June 2016 saw the much anticipated return of guitar legend Richie Blackmore to his rock roots with three shows in Europe. The first two shows in Loreley and Bietigheim Germany were captured on camera and the result is Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow - Monsters in Rock.
Showcasing tracks from his Deep Purple and Rainbow catalogue Ritchie reinvents classics like Highway Star, Man on the Silver Mountain, Mistreated, Spotlight Kid, Black Night and Stargazer, closing the show with the timeless Smoke on The Water.

It's so beautiful to see Ritchie still playing, even at a slower speed, he is still so into music, what a beautiful artist he is. And his wife also singing and looking at him; and of course, the great Jens Johansson in the keyboards.. EPIC! I loved this video so much. I'm so happy they posted it. Thanks!

When I was in high school student, I used to listen to this song to motivate myself before my live.
I know the discography of Rainbow for a different years and after listening that's i think, that this is evolution of Rainbow's sound. Ritchie found a great universal singer, but ritchie 71 year old! Now he wise man and he doesn't want to play such he played 40 years ago. Melodic and academic moments in music more, than distortion.

Hey guys...show me please a vocalist who can sing "Stargazer" better than R.J. Dio, "Child In Time" better than Ian Gillan, "Mistreaded" better than David Coverdale, etc. etc. The "old Rainbow" is gone (Cozy, Ronnie, Jimmy - RIP), it will never happen again so be happy with what you have...who knows, maybe it was the last chance to see Rainbow on stage. Ritchie has been a guitar magician and it will never change
They still rocks like other great bands (Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Rolling Stones, Michael Schenker Group, etc.) and it counts !!!

This band is the club version of Rainbow.. All the instruments were horribly mixed but at least Ritchie is back!

Acho o solo original do Don Airey bem legal com o sintetizador e tudo mais. Mas essa versão com o mestre Jens Johansson ficou com a pegada dele, muito foda.

A little too slow, soft and nowhere near as loud as the 80's but very nice playing and cool vibe. I never thought I'd like Rainbow with this line up but I guess I do now. Seeing Johansson behind the keys made my day. He's the ultimate heavy metal keyboard player. Man what a prolific career he's had...

Rainbow is one of the best rock bands of ever, thousands times better than all those posers like Bon Jovi and decadent hard rock of the 80's.
Aguante ronnie romero, sacando la cara por chile y por latinoamerica. No es dio ni joe pero tiene un vozarron y lo hace muy bien. Por el medio pico las criticas. No cualquiera siendo joven se atreve a subirse al escenario y cantar los clasicos

The reason he didn't want to bring any old or original Rainbow line-up is because Blackmore has always screwed them up.But at least he made them some money and some temporary fame.That's the reason of him being cautious.Worried that they would disgrace him on stage.Clever Ritche Blackmore.Dream on other Rainbow line up.Your contribution is only to a limited time. Good luck to you JLT. Blackmore has many many other to choose from.Never dream to build a career with him.

A (sym-)pathetic Talent's Night house band got a poor old legend featuring on their gig... It's great, tourists stopped by to take photos with their mobiles and all. They also have a very talented, promising keyboard player.
Just went to the site to see if there were any changes in the lineup and so maybe reasons for attending the upcoming concert nearby. There aren't, no.

Хороший вокал(не хуже ДИО. земля ему пухом) .Резковат как то . Хороший барабанщик 4 банки 3 железки а звучит очень достойно. да еще такой зеленый.Ну а РИЧИ это РИЧИ. Вставило.
Далековато ему до DIO....
