Seen Blackmore at Centrum, Providence Civic Ctr and Old Boston Garden. Miss him and those days. That's life I know..... just reminiscing. 🤩
Saw Rainbow with Dio fronting at the Burbank amphitheater After the second or third encore Blackmore went through a hole deal about destroying a strat and at one point and it's a very high stage some dude was able to jump up and he was waving it around and grabbed a neck but the strings were still attached to the body and Richie didn't want to give up the guitar then and he's got like high boots or platforms on They got into a tug of war he slipped but kept the guitar it was just crazy watching Blackmore's guitar clinic He's so got this Factor people mistake that for arrogance and if he is arrogant great I love it It's delicious because he's on the pinnacle platform with all the greatest guitarist ever watching the solo just now to spotlight kid and cant happen And then the intros that rainbow always has even deep purple it's like an orchestra tuning up and Richie's stretching doing all sorts of wild shit on slide upside down not conventional bottleneck erratic AF He throws you around the room You don't know what to expect and I just love this guy yngwie Malmsteen should cut this guy a check once a month for royalties cheers bro 👍🙏 Watch Cal jam burn 74 😘 Bahsten' Gahden' 🤣💖

A guitarist’s guitarist. Very popular, although I never understood why he isn’t a household name in rock music. He has a bad reputation although I don’t believe it. Seems like a lot of fun in interviews and very entertaining to watch live. Saw this tour at the old Philly Spectrum and a few years later saw the DP Perfect Strangers tour there as well. What a incredible time in rock music history.
I saw this tour in Memphis just a couple of days away from this show. FUCKING BAD ASS !! This was Rainbow's most commercial success period !! JLT put the commercial edge in the band. He had the sound and the look to make it happen. No he was not Ronnie but Ronnie was WAY MORE METAL !! This is hard rock at its best!

This wasn't JLT at his best, but he is a much better vocalist than I thought he was. His range is phenomenal and you have to listen to his latest album "belly of the beast" to understand just how good he is
The line up again....😊, this Rainbow era is my favourite, Dio and Bonnet in all glory but this...of course JLT is my guy though Dio's voice is incredible. Saw them 82 in Stockholm, Bobby Rondinelli on drums is my guy as well😊
Has anyone ever noticed Spot Light Kid and Jet to Jet sound near identical yet they were released almost at the same time yet I never heard either band complain or claim copyright.
