This sounds like if you heard Resonance in a dream and your brain couldn't fully remember how it went, so it just improvised some parts and made something even more beautiful (imo)

Yes there is and in the mid 2030s people are gonna be so nostalgic for early 2010s trap and dubstep, and people that are being born now are gonna listen to freakin wiggle by jason derulo and go like "oohh my god so nostalgic so 2010s i was born in the wrong gen"
But i absolutely love the fact that people are giving recognition to dnb/jungle/breakbeat (and other genres) artists, i super wouldnt mind a weird future where most people are banging amen choppery on parties and on soundtracks(actually a lot of ppl do depending on the media, breakcore never died in japan, anime osts are filled with chopped breaks !)
Edit: i'm being too hopeful, i dont think theres a high chance any dnb or breakcore song is gonna get on the top 10 of spotify, but just the fact that more ppl are getting into it is undeniable and great, the more the better

My favorite breakcore artist by far is Sewerslvt and I would recommend basically everything by her. My favorites tracks that are less well known are Antidepressant, Squids, and her remix of Running in the Night. There are also a lot of hidden gems that aren't on her youtube or bandcamp that you have to scour the internet for, but it's definitely worth doing.
When it comes to Synthwave there are a ton of artists I like, I recently discovered Space Sailors and I think they are seriously underrated. My favorite song of theirs is Interlaced Dreams. Anomaly by Unfound is my favorite synthwave album, I would recommend listening to the whole thing because basically every track in there is amazing. Electronic Gems uploads multiple times a week and I discover new artists from there all the time.

I think it's kind of interesting how D&B in the most modern interpretation is interpreted as heartbreaking and contemplative. It feels like around the early 2010's it was practically synonymous with dubstep in how obnoxiously vapid, loud, and forefront it was (no offense to those who enjoy that era of course). In the 90's it felt like the interpretation of the future ahead in the 2000's, hopeful and fruitful. In the late 2010's and and 2020's, it kind of feels like a broken psyche and erupted/torn future. I largely contribute this to sewerslvt, but I understand that many moving parts are responsible for this. Regardless, I'm heavily invested in this music scene and love seeing the many branching paths it takes. I feel it is an obvious indication of whatever the current generation deems to be cutting edge and the recent future.
Thus has been a drunken man's ramblings, hoping optimistically for a pleasant future but knowing full well that nothing is guaranteed. Here's to you, future generations, and your struggle to make meaning of your struggles.
