Check us out at: tonejunkiestore.com Capturing Amps for the Tone X is a big part of what we do here at Tone Junkie so Sooze built a ToneX Pedalboard and is running a bunch of our very popular ToneX Captures!
I've played this live at church now for 6 months and I'm blown away with the "mic'd up amp" sound that I, and many others used to get with Kemper. And........ yes, it takes pedals like a champ!! HW, id love a profile of a 64 Vox with greenbacks (from the actual cab) loving everything your doing guys, keep up the good work!
Was going to get a GT1000 Core to partner with my ToneX but would have needed an additional midi controller and expression pedal. Definitely going with an ms3, a little less money and then all I need is an expression pedal.
Thats a nice looking setup! I have been using a tonex setup as well for live shows along with some drive pedals, timeline and big sky. Working great so far! Just wish there was a lo cut and hi cut on the tonex to roll off the lows while also tweaking other bass frequencies
Figured I would give it a shot and reach out on here. I picked up a tonex used the other day and when I try to access the Librarian on my MacBook it says I need to register. I’ve don’t that on the IK product manager software. I haven’t gotten an answer back from IK, was hoping you all would have an idea.
Bro, haven’t seen this video yet, tone x on the loop of an HX stomp, on a nano + board you can fit that plus 2 small pedals, I personally use a Wampler belle and a 2 button switch.
PLEASE, do a PART 2 and show the signal flow, and how you have the TONEX input trim, master volume, and model volumes set. Also please show how you are running out of the TONEX to your interface/PA. I am trying to create a Tonex idrect to PA board and I run my delay pedal after the TONEX with 1/4" TSRs to XLR's and I lose a TON of volume. Straight out of the TONEX it is BETTER, but nowhere as good as the plugin. I have messed with aboveforementioned trim, master, and model parameters to dismal results. Any assistance would be EXTREMELY welcome. As a side note, I have downloaded a TON of modeled pedals, and they sound VERY good when I use it that way into the front end of my JTM 45. Thank you!
I tried the EHX DELUXE MEMORY MAN 1100-TT after ToneX, it has analog preamp if I set up Gain in Memory Man little after 12 o'clock it really creates magic. It sounds and feel like playing real amp now.
Let’s see a NAM pedalboard? The Mod Dwarf system can run the NAM natively… but not at the highest resolution. @sooze that Squier sounds like it cost you $4k! 😂
I am intrested in the tonex. Can i plug it in like a fender tonemaster frfr? Or must i buy a power stage i believe and a cab. So i can jam somewhere? I am used to play with tube amps. I miss the air flow with monitor speaker
Here's a question I don't see getting answered on the ToneX. Can I replace BOTH my amp sim and overdrives with it? Obviously it can do the amp sim part, and Tone Factor has their killer overdrive pack, but what I don't see anyone doing with it is using it as an all-in solution for that. People are boosting with with overdrives, but why aren't they just having the three presets set up as progressively dirties versions of the same amp? That way they don't need overdrives when it is their amp replacement, and they can just use progressively dirtier overdrive captures when they do use a real amp? Is there some kind of flaw where it cuts out when you change presets or something?
i actually currently am doing this using the stock dumble ods! got a clean, drive, and more drive, for 3 gain stages. technically, i'm running this into a tone factor benson chimera preset in my hx stomp, so it's more serving as 3 gain stages to push another amp/ir combo, but it sounds sick
@@thesoozeTJhey man, did you have the ToneX routed through the Boss MS-3 or did you run that all in front of it? Any info on how you routed these pedals and signal flow would be great! I’m trying to build a board similar to this
@@thesoozeTJ Personally, I have the Tonex in a loop, so that I can route effects before and after in the MS-3. I do a dry out from the second output from Tonex, and the wet out from the MS-3. It's great that we have so many options and possibiities!
Nice - but if you´re using a midi switcher anyway, I just don't understand why you want all your expensive pedals out on stage, adding risk and excess cable length.
There is no “building” here it is just talk about…come on people- “build” it…that should be showing the wiring- power supply- cable routes- the board it’s built on- the amps used in the modeler…
Oh really, are you not forgeting about the circuits on the PCB plate and all eh electronic components? You guys really can't just choose some positive words right? Its always something to put the fucking thing down! Go to find some theraphy!

Rock on that’s awesome
Nice board setup. Loved seeing the 40 dollar Strat make an appearance already.
Oh, and thanks for the BF sale. I picked up a pack.
Very cool! Thanks for watching 😊

Really happy you dig it!
Wow this thing sounds great guys. Well done!
Glad you dig it! Thanks for watching :)
Loved this! Thanks for sharing, great tones!
Thanks for watching / commenting!
I think the IR-X and an HX Stomp might be the way to go, maybe even add the OX Stomp if you really want to get fancy.

A HD picture of the pedalboard please.
Saludos de Mexico.
All hail the mighty Boss MS3!!!
Here here!!
It's a superb product! The poor mans Gig Rig
Can you tell us what your Timeline and BigSky settings are for this video? Thanks!

I need to try one of those Dwarfs! LOL @ the Strat - I had to fit it in there for sure!

You can plug this into any FRFR or similar cabinet (like you would a Helix/Kemper/Tonemaster Pro)
Nice board! What are the input trim and main volume settings on the ToneX for the TJ 65 Deluxe V OD?
I believe both were set to defaults (I don't remember changing either parameter).
@@thesoozeTJ great! Thank you very much! Nice playing man!
@@eldadmendez really appreciate that, thanks so much
The question i have is if i put some pedals after the tonex will it still be line level out of the last pedal so i can still go direct?...
You can go direct even using pedals after the ToneX - I do it all the time.

@@thesoozeTJ awesome 🦾🤙🏼🦾
How are you linking the PettyJohn compressor?
It’s really sweet! Very versatile and just quality sounds at any setting.
does tone fx feel under the fingers like the kemper, how does it take pedals in the front, does it run to the same limitations of the kemper
I’m curious too!
It feels REALLY great, honestly. I played it at church and didn't miss anything from having my Kemper on stage with me. Takes pedals like a champ.
Hello, where would you put a loop pedal in this chain? Also, how do you download your tone captures from tonenet? Thanks
Using tone net with the pedal plugged in. Search Tone Junkie.
I would probably use a looping pedal last so it had all my effects recorded in the loops.
what output level from the tonex are you running to the next pedal
Full up

Hey Sooze.. Im in Hermitage and would like to put a TONE X board together. You interested in helping? $$ Thanks!
No MIDI to Tonex?
No - just using one amp for a whole set.
@@thesoozeTJ makes sense. btw, would love to hear that Lunar Module! Had one years ago and it sounded awesome. I don’t even remember why I sold it off
to much delay's 😔
