Now I must sell every one of these games for 10x their actual value and the graded games prophecy will be complete. And there WERE supposed to be more cards included but they had been misplaced haha. I had a slight little panic after filming and messaging the middleman😅
My favorite was FF9 - one of the greats alongside 7,8 and Tactics on the PS1. Speaking of re-grading the same item, I had my 8.5 chrono trigger CIB regraded. 8.5 box and 8.0 cart got regraded to a 9.4 box and 9.6 cart, now it’s 9.4 overall 😂
@@GetTheGregthe higher grades were what I was expecting. This box still has the cellophane wrap and everything. So the lower grades were quite a shock initially.
I'm so happy you finally grabbed a sealed Super Smash Bros N64 NA version! It has been on my want list as well, but I never thought it would come back down to an attainable price. Congrats!
It's why I personally rarely pay the premiums attached to "perfect grade" cards, games, etc. Generally speaking, many of the 10s that exist would be 9s if you sent them in again, and a lot of 9s might become 10s. As far as games or comics go, yea, you're going to have stuff that might 9.6 one day and 9.8 the next. Just kind of the inherent flaw of human/subjective grading. It's why the phrase "buy the X, not the grade exists" haha. Always trust your eyes over of whatever the slab says.
@@GetTheGreg thanks for the insight. You’ve reinforced this for me now more than ever. I think I’m just happy to own something rather than perfect grades these days lol
Going to need a recount on that Mario Kart 64! I stopped at Tekken 2 and picked up Tekken 7, so no idea how good that Tekken is, but the holofoil slip looks great like that.
If you want a game you desire, its super rare to get it in the condition you want under market value. So i completely understand dropping market value for games i want.
Exactly. Everyone that always pushes the narrative of "buy under market" generally has stuff in 5-7/10 condition. Very hard to get both premium games and premium condition for below market.
I personally hardly ever buy PSA 10 cards for my own collection given they can be like 2-10x more expensive than a PSA 9, and frankly, it might be in the exact same condition

So while I currebtly want to keep them, I also know its a possibility I will change and sell them and I don't know what I really prefer to happen eventually. I'm glad someone appreciates it haha! The pop report doesn't show actual slipcover grades (annoyingly), but just from what I've seen on every game with one: 9.4 is upper echelon. Not sure 9.8 is even possible (or at least I don't think I've seen one)
@@GetTheGreg Ive never seen a slip higher than 9.4. They're usually 9.0 or lower (looking at you every Wata Bioshock). Most older slips I see are graded with VGA and they are the dealbreaker between gold and silver. Needless to say, not a lot of gold there either. TLDR: Yours is a gem.
