    I BT Moto flashed my 2022 mt10 sp and like the smoothness, throttle in power A is now usable. Engine also runs cooler, the shifter shifts better and does autoblip when stuck between first and 2nd.

    Old gen still a GREAT value. I picked up a '18 late last summer with 1k mi for $9500. A $300 flash, EBC DOUBLE-H SINTERED brake pads front and rear and this bike is fun! I did end up putting 3/4 yosh system on it but honestly 95% of the gains/improvements cime from the simple $300 flash. The exhaust does bring out the beautiful music of the cp4 but again, it's all in the ecu flash!

      I got mine this summer 18' with 600 miles for 9500 as well!! Best bang for buck bike I've had. Came with full exhaust, guards and other accessories too. Now I just need a comfort seat and another windshield cause the stock shield causes a lot of buffeting

      How did the flash affect fuel economy?

    Didn't you say that it was in mode 1? And you still was sort of close to the R1? Or did you put it in the faster mode?

    Thanks for the vid. Excellent timing….I’ll be buying the system today for my MT10SP. Watch the sales screen 😂😂😂😂 . Looked all over for something similar- all positives point to BT…Those mirrors are also great. What make are they?

    The trottle issue, ist a TPS sensor tuning issue. Not a model problem.

    If I remember right, I'd heard the MT-10 was basically the YZF-R1S engine (without Ti valves and rods and radical cams).

      depending years, 2022+ is apparently same other then gearing, air box and velocity stacks...and obviously tune

      @@Maxomath "Tune" is what makes all the hardware function.
      The superbike makes over 190 wheel horsepower properly set up. No MT-10 is going to do that the way the cams, rods, valves, airbox, and the rest is set up.

    That plateau you feel is the throttle is restricted to 68% after around 8000 RPM. Funny though EVERYONE complains about the jerky throttle but year after year Yam can't seem to tune it out of it.

    Well I love my MT10, decatted and dyno tuned. I love less gizmos and options, in my eyes a perfect litre bike for the real World not particularly the racetrack.

    if you don’t like the way the design of this bike looks and you like the look of the new one... you probably fell your head on the tiles as a child, this is not subjective, a new MT 10 with a cheap tail light and with headlights from which the plastic was stolen. Just vomit. what do you not like, this bike received an award for one of the best designs, unique, finished, I am the owner of two of these bikes, everyone is crazy about its design, I would like to see what you think is a good design. It doesn’t like the sharp handle, learn control gas.

    Why you are bullshitting people??!!
    The new model has different valve angles and diameter, different airbox with functional inlets, Air filter is different. Pistons are different with ceramic coating. Much more powerful ECU with R1 electronics and similar maps. Quick shifter timing is completely different and accommodates down shift as well (thus more maps to control this). and many other.. New model is way ahead from the old one. On 98 fuel I have 160whp..on the new 2023 model.
    You supposed to be a reputable tuning house! Why this?
    You said everything on old bike apply on the new model too..

    • @BT_Moto
      @BT_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Restrictions are basically the same on the new and old model. Same gains here in the US. We don’t like to confuse people with minor differences. We didn’t go into the differences between the R1 and MT10 engine either, though we know there are many. It still shares the same basic engine architecture. We can apply the same logic to the 23 S1000RR. It’s the same but different, but we don’t nitpick it in order to reduce confusion. When you have thousands of customers, keeping it as simple as possible is paramount.

      To be fair, Brentuning is a reputable tuning house, not a Japanese engine manufacturer and PR house. Their expertise is to make sure the ECU is speaking the appropriate language, not make sure motorcycle enthusiasts know what coating the pistons have.

    • @KHIJAPAN
      @KHIJAPAN ปีที่แล้ว

      @@exothermal.sprocket How do you know I am motorcycle enthusiast? Do you know me and what is my profession? Yamaha R1 is a winning tool on tracks, for years. Unlike BMW S1000RR that is only for videos on TH-cam. MT-10 derived from R1 for seriously fast road ride.
      My problem is when professionals of Brentuning calibre, are lite on some brands and very accurate on some other. I do admit though, that they are a very good tuning house.
