It's so refreshing to hear you sing these songs against all the pop & big voices on the show. Those loud contestants get the attention b/c for some reason people seem to think the louder the singers voices are, the better singer they are. I like music I can relate to, understand the words, and that moves me. You definitely do that. Don't ever fall into that pop culture, it's been shoved down our throats for so many years people are brainwashed to think that is the only genre there is to do anymore. It's way past due for folk/blues/rock to come back & show this generation what real music sounds like. It's a shame you can't sing any of your originals on the show, but now that your name is out there it won't be long before everyone will hear your originals. Sawyer your original songs are amazing. .I'm absorbing them slowly and I can't get them out of my head. .that's the sign of a star..the only thing is this one and not my girl are recorded with alot of distractions so it hard to focus on you. .short temper and why so blue were recorded in a different setting and its so easy to focus on you and your talent. .i wish all the songs were recorded in a similar setting. .it's not a negative comment because I think you're incredible. I keep coming back to this one, partly because it's such a beautiful, wrenching, heartfelt song (and not on his first cd). The other reason is because it's just amazing to hear people talking over his astounding singing, like they couldn't really appreciate what they were hearing. And no one claps! Saw your blind audition on The Voice. I love your rendition of the song. There is talent in tailoring and already existing song to yourself. I can't wait to see what else you can do. I literally sometimes stay up all night listening to your songs on your website - I keep saying just one more song and next thing I know it is morning! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your voice. **Warning** Sawyer's voice is highly addictive :) My daughter (9) is equally drawn to your voice and walks around singing your songs all day (they change up but right now she has Collide, Man of Constant Sorrow and Trouble stuck in her head). Dude I just wanna say that whatever happens on the voice doesn't mean shit. What matters is that you do what YOU want to do. If you sign some contract that ties your hands and you can't make music how you wanna do it, it's going to feel terrible. Keep true to you, and you will continue to be making great music for years and years to come.

I've been replaying this, crying again and again for about 30 minutes. There are some lyrics that are louder then others to me and your lyrics scream. That probably doesn't make sense but I love your song and your one of a kind voice.
