Charge the player double cost for every extra pilot card used after the first one.

Crossbow is the best mech in this pack, soany unique builds it has, want to pound infantry, well you have 16 AP Gauss variant, want bang for buck 4 SSRM6 and a pilot with -2 for them, enjoy the autohits if well placed. Want ranged support, there's Mech mortar variant...
Ebon Jag is another reason why I bought the set though, but it's more of a looker than worker
