I just bought a 7180 Double Purse off Ebay, so thanks Michelle for this very useful info. I am in the UK and don't think they are so sought after there, I got it for a very good price I think. Keep doing the videos, they are fab! Been collecting vintage Coach for about 6 months now and your videos have been so helpful.

Darn! Coin purses were not on my vintage Coach radar until now! This video was great! My guess is that the coin purse with the teeth marks was given to a teething baby and the water marks were drool. I would have done that for sure, back in the day!

Hi I need help. I had an accident with my sidepack. A couple of french fries fell into the back pocket and I didn't know it. When I noticed a dark spot on the back, I found what happened. Is there a way to get that stain out of the leather? I checked on line and it said to use baking soda with a damp cloth and leave it on the spot. I did that but it didn't work. Any advice would be appreciated! I feel sick about it.

Oh that is terrible! So I use corn Starch on grease stains. Leave it for 12 hours then brush away. Repeat. The problem is, there is likely more grease on the inside bc the fries were in the pocket. It might behoove you to put some cornstarch inside as well. I know, messy, but if you have a small vacuum attachment you can vacuum it out.

@@birdybloom2 thanks! We are on vacation. I'll get the corn starch tomorrow morning and do as you suggest. Thanks so much!

@@birdybloom2 I wanted to give you an update on the oil stain on my side pack. I did four different applications of corn starch, and it did get lighter, but didn’t go away completely. The inside of the back pocket did have more success. The remaining stain is on the outside of the back pocket. When I got home, I completely washed the purse with Dawn. I had seen your video on Blackrock and applied that on the entire purse. That stuff is amazing.
I’m reconciled with the fact that there’s going to be a dark spot on the purse. The thing is, I love the bag, it’s a beautiful bag and the fact that it’s not perfect is okay. It’s always going to be one of my favorite bags and will be lovingly used. Thanks for your help! I really appreciated it, and I’m so glad that I found your videos.

      Prehaps saddle soap would help?
