You’re insane. That’s a throw away item. The stresses on that brake drum will split it again and specially with the over loads you continue to put on them vehicles. It’s a suicidal repair 😮.
I completely Agree, when i saw the stress in the inner part i thought exactly the same. But in india it is not as easy to get the parts new, economically it is nearly impossible for some. The heavy trucks are usually patched beyond belief. Although it is not visible to the naked eye, these types of repairs are a lifesaver for many Indians and usually allow families to continue putting bread on their tables.
Барабан не доработаю! Надо было после проточки на варить слоя два, затем снова поточить до нормы, вечный бара ан был бы, особенно если эту операцию проделывать не один раз по мере износа барабана! 😅😅😅

Толщина стенки барабана как фольга. Там и без трещины надо менять.

I guess all these jobs are to make it look good but they aren't perfect.
