I am also panimalar (panimalar institute of management studies and computer science College, Nelson manikyam road. I think now no college with this name) MCA student in the year 1999-2002.
In our time only this panimalar engineering college started in the year 2001-2002 in our Nelson manikyam road panimalar polytechnic College campus. Later it is shifted to Poonamallee.
At that time, we have lot of rules in our college. Many of us use to feel that we joined in LKG, not MCA. That many rules.
But we use to violate those rules and use to get punishments. But we use to have fun in that punishments also.
In our class out of 60 students 48 are Telugu students. But we use get less internal marks than others. For that we fighted in college. Then only management brought a system for internals. 25 marks from internals. If in that sem, if attendance is above 95% , we will get 5 marks in internals. In college exams, if we get above 70% then we will get 20 marks in internals. So 5+20=25. From that time onwards we use to get good internal marks.
Tamil film actress and Bigg Boss participant "Kaajal pasupathi (Original name is Tamil Selvi pasupathi)" is our classmate.
In our time, even lecturers also have to follow rules.
Anyway these rules are really useful in our job.
Nowadays students won't listen any rules and regulations . The want full freedom
