I think the Secret Key for this to become Reality is Geopolitics. -First, the most important is the Catalyst Spark that would initiate the Start of Geopolitical Realignment of the Countries in the Region. The most probable ones is when Malaysia become a Rogue State, either it become an Full-blown Islamic State or/the Ascendance of a Radical Extremist Leadership that would come from an uprising of Political Islam in the country. -Second, the Leadership will try to threaten Israel Ships from passing in the Malacca Strait. Henceforth, having a to limit Israel from it’s Allies in the Region and beyond, like Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Thailand. We can also include Vietnam and Taiwan which is already getting closer with Israel being facilitated by US and key allies/partners in the region. -While on Thailand’s side, will be Strategically Coerced by China to accept the building of the Kra Canal thru Blackmailing it by using it’s Vassal States surrounding Thailand(Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia)to caused Problems and Issues for Thailand that can only be mediated by China, as long it accepts the canal Project while trying to portray itself as Neutral despite it being a US Treaty Ally. (FYI, China is already doing this Dirty Tactics, like screwing Vietnam using Cambodia as front, example is funding/building of Military Naval Base facing the Gulf of Thailand, and also a Canal Project that will link Mekong River(in Cambodian side) into Cambodia’s Coast facing Gulf of Thailand, that will altogether bypassed the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam) -Back into Malaysia, the Anti-Israel Policy is at full swing and will be expanded to include those countries supporting Israel, becoming a full-blown Anti-Westerner and their Allies. Because of these, Singapore would be under Threat by Malaysia, in terms of National Security like Territorial, Economic, Food/Water/Energy Resources, and many Cross-Strait Issues would be brought up by Malaysia against Singapore. Continuation: -As Tensions rise between Malaysia and Singapore, Maritime Trade Disruption will be inevitable, especially the Malacca Strait that’s already banned Westerners and it’s Allies because of their Support for Israel. Because of that, Maritime Trade Routes would have rerouting away from Malacca Strait into The Indonesian Straits(which Indonesia is going to openly welcome, Probably Angering Malaysia which the former may dismissed), which initially will benefits Indonesia but sooner the carrying Traffic cannot be sustained and a more reliable Routes are needed, and that’s where Thailand’s Kra Canal Project will have support from Western Countries(North America/Europe/Oceania), and their allies in the region, like India, Japan, South Korea, The Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, including Singapore and probably Indonesia. -When this happens and Thailand decided to start building the Canal, it will angered Malaysia and will be threatened by these Project, and China could also not be spared and Issues of Human Rights of Uiyghur Muslims in Xinjiang would be brought up. And Maritime Dispute in South China Sea could be also raised against China PRC. Part3: To be Continue... -Retaliation by the Western Alliance headed by UK, US, Australia with their Allies help would try to destabilize Malaysia, especially on East Malaysia in partnership with US-PH and UK-BR by bringing out the historical disputes in the area and how Malaysia Coerced them to be part of Malaysian Federation. Singapore will support these knowing it's responsible for pushing the States there to be part of the Union only to be left them in a Colonial Status under Malaysia while Singapore goes to become Independent & Rich, forgetting it's responsibility on North Borneo States that left in the Limbo, occupied/colonized/taken advantaged by Malays for their Lands and Resources.

(FYI, China is already doing this Dirty Tactics, like screwing Vietnam using Cambodia as front, example is funding/building of Military Naval Base facing the Gulf of Thailand, and also a Canal Project that will link Mekong River(in Cambodian side) into Cambodia’s Coast facing Gulf of Thailand, that will altogether bypassed the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam)
-Back into Malaysia, the Anti-Israel Policy is at full swing and will be expanded to include those countries supporting Israel, becoming a full-blown Anti-Westerner and their Allies.
Because of these, Singapore would be under Threat by Malaysia, in terms of National Security like Territorial, Economic, Food/Water/Energy Resources, and many Cross-Strait Issues would be brought up by Malaysia against Singapore.
Continuation:
-As Tensions rise between Malaysia and Singapore, Maritime Trade Disruption will be inevitable, especially the Malacca Strait that’s already banned Westerners and it’s Allies because of their Support for Israel.
Canal or land bridge are good things.😂
👍👍👍👍👍
No need for a canal. Build two huge ports in both sides then link them with double stack container freight trains.
🤔🤔🤔intriguing.
China needs money now! Thailand can bargain low price of construction.

Good job 👍 I love these types of videos. Personally, I don’t think this canal would be created. It’s gonna cause too many issues between great powers. ( cough, cough. the US )
Thailand is literally a U.S. ally. And creating another choke point would not solve the issue. Like at all.
You commis still lose, the US navy can still block it.
It will not be. The current government's plan is not a canal.
@@AL-lh2ht Singapore 🇸🇬 is also a American ally
Nothing to do with power. It is all about the money. Thailand is not really in a good financial state after so many coups. Its infrastructure, education and health system are all creaking and groaning away. Better off spending +20B into their economy to benefit all citizens instead of concentrating on a glamour project which the Muslim majority southern Thais are not going to be so happy about.
Allowing US army bases near singapore will probably became headache for Singapore as China is moving away. This is going to break singapore for sure.

Low key. Britain and France outclassed every other empire with the suez canal. The US controlled Panama Canal was a leap forward as well. This is really dangerous planning on the Chinese part 😂
iT'LL NEVER HAPPEN, tHAILAND DOES NOT WANT A CANAL
Thailand doesn't want a Canal. Thailand wants money. (Who doesn't want ?😂)
Nooo basta de guerras ni juegos 😢😢😢😢

I live in Thailand, this canal will never be built because it will separate the south from Thailand, there are many groups (Muslims) who want that part of the country to join Malaysia By building its canal, Thailand will lose the entire south to Malaysia.
