i took the new apache abs rtr 180 yesterday. it as awesom pick up... and very very good exoust sound.. to tel d bike s simply superb...and the abs works perfect.. for a new buyer i prefer apache abs..:)

After several visit to service center, they replaced some electronics parts, its seems to be working now (but still wonder how come its failed within a month), also I reported problem in gear system, that issues still unsolved. 1. Gear will go and struck in BTW Neutral and 2nd gear 2. While bike running on it won it goes to Neutral. Do you guys think its defect in the bike? Service Center ppl couldn’t fix this issues and TVS guys advised to me drive for 3000 Km
Hello sir i would like to see some changes in apachie rtr bikes specally in rtr 160 & 180 . Tvs shoud upgrade there bikes with additional or 6th gear . Nd i love the sound of silencer but now a days young generations wants sporty look bike with small sylencer no doubt tvs stock exhaust sound is best but it should be small like cbr 150r silencer tvs bike is sporty buts its silencer shoud be sporty design but the exaust note shoud remain same i m sure people youngest our generation will be glad to see these change in rtr 160 & 180. Sir one more thing now a days pulsar r bringing liquid cool oil cooled engine in there 150 cc 160 cc bikes why cant we bring tvs apache 160 and 180 into liquid cool or oil cool engine. Sir personally i think many peoples think this rts 150 to 180 cc segment bike shoud come with these features sir please go thought it . Sir people wants best nd they purchase 1 thing but they want best in 150 to 180 segment they will also pay the value for this features for the bikes . Thank Q
I'm so proud of TVS, but it has still a lot of work to do in-order to catch the real track racing R15. Though i own an YAMAHA FAZER, i still love APACHE RTR as the best bike in its segment, with the ABS technology i gotta to love this vehicle even more :) RTR is way ahead of any other Indian bikes, except Royal Enfield.
I brought Apache ABS in 2011, from the day one i'm having problem with Jerking on 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears and very slow pick up..! you must come to 1st or 2nd gear when if you're at 25kmps speed.Now its time for me to through this bike away and go for Honda ABS. I really wasted my money going for TVS.
Is Ir posible to purchase in India the kit of ABS sistema in order to install in the Apache with out the the system. Please give me the approximate cost oh the item. I will be very grateful for this.
