The first time I watched S3 of Overlord and heard OP 3, that shxt slapped so hard it became an instant favorite OP of mine, like I mean Top 5 Anime OP track of all time for me personally
Number 1 for me is Hollow Hunger. Such beautiful yet banger music and they're really play it with the instruments so smooth. And No Man's Dawn ED number 1 for me. Voracity 2nd And 3rd it's Clattanoia & Go Cry Go for me.
Funny you guys deemed Silent Solitude (Ed3) as pretty normal. The song actually portrays Ainz's internal thoughts, being trapped in an unending nightmare, stuck a different world. It's meant to make you feel depressed and even despair. Which connects to Hollow Hunger (Op4). Hollow Hunger is the complete opposite of Silent Solitude, where Ainz resigned himself to his fate and gave in to the madness of his circumstances, which gives off the feeling of mania and frenzy from the music.
Opening 4 became my number one over Op3 for one reason! I am a sucker for spanish style guitar and rythm in non-spanish music. That's why I love Hisoka's OST in Hunter X Hunter (2011). Also! One of my favorite progressive metal bands, Unprocessed, uses those upbeat spanish dancing melodies in their music.
Out of all animes that I’ve watched openings and endings for Overlord seems to be the only anime that sticks to a certain feel to the openings and endings that fits with the theme of the season and I love it. Without even reading into the depth of what the songs represent I always got the feeling of exactly what was being portrayed in the music for each season. Phenomenal music for such a good anime and I honestly put Overlord in my top 5 for best anime, especially since it’s the only anime that made me really think about buying the light novels to understand the world and characters better.
Hydra (2nd ed) is one of those songs that doesn't reveal the power level on first hearing. After watching the show like 6 times it's my favourite one. Also in 2nd OP "defence", which is not needed, the full song is way better, it really sounds like a an action horror theme that got cut just for action in the OP.
I would recommend looking up Myth and Roid's first album eYe's its really good. Also fun fact the singer of the last ending was the original singer for myth and roid.
for me my favorites ever are op´s: voracity and hollow hunger (firstly was voracity but when season 4 comes cant decide so i decided keep the 2 as fav) and ed´s: L.L.L and like with the openings now the no mans dawn ed too
Even though I still think OP3 is the best op4 went from last place to third and now second….ngl i don’t think it will ever top OP3 but it may be equal to it. It’s not like the others you gotta let it sit on you for a while then you’ll realize how fire it actually is, almost like an acquired taste
I think the only bad one is ED4, not because of the song but the fact it doesn’t fit at all with the show’s mood, it also took out of the picture the legendary Myth&Roid which pisses me iff as well.

Ed2 is my favorite ed just becuase it is such a good outro for so many of the episodes in season 2.
My favorite was when Renner was revealed to be evil then the episode cuts to the ending where Renner is illustrated Yandere mode.
