      Thank you! ME TOO! Today, people just use tomato paste, but I believe the rubbed tomato is WAY better! As far as the Tuna Ftira goes, the tomato paste works better due to all of the other ingredients.
      But when it comes to my hobz biz-zejt - I keep it simple, and classic! THANKS for watching and commenting!

    Hobz Biz-Zejt is still the best quick summer meal :) Simple to make and wonderfully refreshing on hot summer days especially if you grow your own tomatoes like so many people do during summer now days. May I ask,the little ceramic bowls you had the Capers,Olives and Giardiniera I remember them from way back do you know what they are called the Maltese name ? I do remember they had a name and came in different sizes and colours. many thanks

      Hey Charlie. You are right. This is the quintessential Maltese snack, and great in the summer at the beach! My Nanna used to make them at a picnic, right there and then!
      The bowls. I "think" they might be called La Primula, but I can be wrong there. Good question. Need to confirm that, and will get back to you! Thanks for watching, and great question!
