Dearest friends, I am pleased that you're back to producing these delightful documentaries on traditional aspects of life in Malta. They outshine everything else you've done to date.

Hello from Kurunjang, Victoria, Australia. When I was younger and lived in Malta my mother used to send us down to the Bakery on a Sunday after Mass to collect the midday meal with a token in hand. We came home with the hot meal wrapped in a tea towel and some days we would pick at the food on the way home :) Mom always noticed :)

A wonderful video and very interesting to watch. Many years ago I had two friends that lived in Calleya street in Mosta. I used to help them make bread in a bakery just like the one in the video. It gives me great pleasure to watch and reflect on my own memories and experience. Thank you so much for sharing Jasmine

@clarrisina Thanks for your comment dear Sarah. Glad that this video brought you some fond memories of baking breads with friends. I have no experience in baking bread. It must be fun but hard work too. Maltese breads are so delicious. Even the pop star group from Duran Duran commented that Maltese breads are the best.
    Hugs,

@amarcordeon Thanks you very much Lillo for your comment and appreciation. Glad that you enjoyed our presentation.
Malta is known for its history with culture and traditions that have been passed down for centuries which fascinates me.
I love exploring these islands and be acquainted with the islanders. They have lots of interesting stories to share, always, which enriching our knowledge.
    Warm regards,
    Jasmine & Alfred

@lulle10 Thanks for your comment. The Village Prison on Triq il-Habs is very easy to find. It is right beside Vittoria Band Club. It is very beautiful.
BTW, your village is one of our favourite places to visit. We love taking an evening walk from Mosta to Naxxar. There are so many beautiful ancient and historic buildings there to see. It is a feast for the eyes.
    Warm regards,
    Jasmine & Alfred

@1952Marisa Thank you Marisa for your kind words. Glad that you enjoyed this video. We truly enjoyed your company together with Sib, Jim and also our cousin George at Cauchi.
Thank you for Rita. She is just as wonderful. We enjoyed her company too.
You guys are a treasure. Keep in touch.
    Warm regards from Malta,

@olga2415 Thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed this video too. Maltese language has a mixture with Italian language, Arabic etc. Many Maltese speak Italian - either learning it in schools or from watching Italian TV .
Italians are lovely people. We have several Italian and Sicilian friends - Friends for life. It is common for descendants abroad who don't speak Italian as US-English is most spoken of.
Age is no boundary for being sentimental. It keeps you young :))

Oh how hungry yous made me after seeing those loafs of bread, I used to be able to purchase proper Maltese bread in Sunshine years ago, but now that stopped i have to make do with traveling to Altona once a week to purchase one loaf of double cooked Italian bread, the closest I found to the traditional Maltese bread.

@andrit99 Sorry for making you hungry..LOL.. In my lifetime, eating bread since a little kid, I found the Maltese bread the best, especially ones that are fresh from the il-Forn. Guess, I am making you hungry again :) The ones that are closest to Maltese bread were those we had at the one of the restaurants at Dubai Airport. My husband was wondering if they were imported from Malta.
    Warm regards from Malta,
    Jasmine
