This bird was too far away for good quality, but any view of this creature is good. This is a female, lacking the red stripe in the facial markings.

I'm glad I waited to hear the bird's call at the end of the video clip! I've heard it in the woods, not knowing that it was a Pileated Woodpecker, one of my favorite pretty birds. Thanks!
