As a Dr Orthopedic Surgeon and Specialist in Sports Medicine, I can only say that this is good for Bautista. It proves that that's never too late quite the PED'S. He has the best doctors and obviously got the message from his medical team and took it seriously. Respect!
In terms of public messaging: The members of the public--not those just making aesthetic fun of him for the lols, but those expressing concern or contempt and so forth--clearly are in an _extremely_ naive state of knowledge about PEDs. This is just an expected thing Batista will have to live with, since he is unable to explain his situation in a way that makes any sense because he has chosen (as is his prerogative; he's never actively frauded natty) not to explain them in terms of PEDs. So we get these vague things about "health" and, if you are so completely naive (as so, so many are) that you cannot read between the lines and have absolutely no idea how anything works, that makes no sense to you and you just see something that's potentially even odd and alarming. That's the difference between being a batista fan, and being a muscle fan. I loved batista as a wrestler, i love his films. The man is allowed to look however he wants, doesn't change who he is.
Man, so many haters out there. Put the guy in a tank top and he probably looks better than 90% of those making comments. It's pretty obvious that people are not used to see what a "normal" healthy person looks like. He isn't jacked on peds nor is he obese. Anyone that isn't one of those things is "too skinny". 🤦
What most people forget is that Batista, unlike the Rock, has serious acting skills. But his physic was limiting him to a certain type of roles. So by loosing his muscles he makes himself avialable for more character driven roles instead of just being the muscle monster. And even wihtout PED he can still gain quite a lot of mass if necessary. so he is basicly extending his range of roles and saving his health at the same time. Respect to the animal batista.
He did the right thing for himself, and so, he seems happier. Dave isn't winded, he seems to be calmer. Greg is right, you can't be that massive size forever, though it was pretty damn otherworldly.
I think the Hollywood obsession with looking young has broken our brains of what people actually look like in their 50s. To me he looks like a 55 year old man who works out and let the grey in his beard grow out. Not 70 lol
This is especially crazy if youre a huge wrestling fan and been watching Batista weekly since the mid 2000s. People think he was jacked 10 years ago, go look at pictures of him im his prime around 2005. Go look at his size when he fought against Triple H at Wrestlemania 21
“… when he fought against Triple H at Wrestlemania 21…” Is that the one where he backed Triple H into a corner and then gave him a Most Muscular pose? Triple H shriveled like a little girl. 🤣

I went through this experience on a smaller scale. When I was in my 20s and early 30s I was 6’3” and 265lbs of muscle, drug free. People who knew me basically knew me for that. In my early thirties I got a blood test done and lots of numbers were off. The lifestyle was killing me. My doctor asked me, “how long do you want to live?” It was a wake up call. So, I switched up my diet, cut back on protein (and as a result of eating less meat, less fat), and started cycling. I dropped to 215lbs and am healthy as a horse. However, people noticed, and not in a good way. When you’re fat and you lose weight, people celebrate you. When it’s muscle, everyone thinks you’re dying. I got messages from friends asking if I had cancer. It was a weird experience. And still to this day I run into people who haven’t seen me since I dropped weight, and their first question is always, “are you ok?” Yeah, I’m happier than ever.
I'm happy for Dave. He's one of the few wrestlers turned actors I actually respect and enjoy watching. The dude is a good human and deserves to be happy in his skin.
Can someone tell me since when did Coach Greg become the funniest fitness influencer??? I am loving every bit of these videos. Getting oiled up, giving hawk thuas and much more BEFORE GTA 6 is just hilarious 😂. Not only that but the educational and motivational parts of Greg's videos are hitting harder than last time 😅. But the funniest part is seeing someone who is the age of my parents use gen z words. It makes it 69 times more fun! Best thing to watch on TH-cam lately. Keep going stronger than last time, we are all having a blast! Greetings all the way from Bulgaria 🇧🇬!
I once saw him in person in his WWE prime, swarmed by a crowd. I cant even begin to describe how big he was. Incredible how he kept up his size all these years. Good for him, he pulled the plug. He will always be huge, plus he’s a great actor. 👍
I saw somewhere he wants to get into more serious roles not just "the big guy" which is why he was talking about getting more acting roles. More acting roles that he actually wants to play and show off his acting skills beyond filling the frame
Greg is a genius at this. He baited me the first three minutes of this video, and I was angry saying Greg is a hypocrite. Then I kept watching and I really appreciate how Greg made this. People will clip the first 3 minutes saying Greg is bodyshaming or hating. That will direct them back here to watch the full video earning Greg more money than last time.
Greg completely missed the point. Bautista is not trying to be Arnold. Bautista wants to be a “Daniel Day Lewis”. Bautista wants to get real acting roles. Not roles that place him in only one category.
I just can't appreciate anything about someone who abuses steroids, makes lots of money and then gets attention because he lost his muscle. And above all, he lies about it. Doing illegal stuff shouldn't be appreciated. It's a bit like the mob movies in the past. The woke world admiring junks.
Yep, if you get rich and famous lying to the public, eventually you have to pay the piper. Whether it's by having a stroke, losing muscle when you stop and the general public doesn't understand what happened, or you get found out like the Liver King.
I want to looks like him at his age. I love this man from back 2004, I genuinely rooting for him, and give a stockton slap to everyone who's dare to make fun of him.
guys i wanna tell you something... The first synthetic anabolic steroids were derived from natural sources, with early testosterone extracted from animal testes. Today, although testosterone and anabolic steroids are produced synthetically in the lab, it’s important to be cautious. Knowing their origins and potential risks should make you think twice before taking them.
The people giving Bautista more cookbook than last time. The guy decided to prioritize his health, and I'm glad he did. I bet most of the people talking cookbook are smaller than Bautista is now.
People go through different chapters in their life. If he wants to prioritize his health good for him. He did a few Marvel movies, collected his checks, and decided he could take the gamble of losing his size. He honestly doesn’t care, if he manages his money well & invests wisely, he doesn’t have to work again.
Most people don’t realise that sarks and steroids were developed to try and combat illnesses and injuries, or are accidental with interesting side effects. Plenty of sarms and serms for example have been used in cancer treatment to help reduce it returning or to slow it down.
Dave is a great guy. I am totally shocked by his appearance. I hope he is well. Health is wealth. btw, Dave was a bouncer in Washington DC before getting famous.
Dave says he is now about 240 at a height of 6'2 or 6'3. He is still fit and muscular, BUT is "small" compared to his steroidal prime of being around 300 pounds. He lost a fairly lean 50 or 60 pounds. He is still a large man, but is small compared to what he used to be.
Bautista for years has said he really didn't care for being the biggest guy in the room anymore, and if anything he started to switch his training to longevity rather than pure size. Yes does he look different hell yes but you are talking about a man over 6ft and 240 this man is a guy walking around at a healthy weight and lets be real working out that heavy or long for that many years becomes a chore of habit rather than a joy. I think he looks good for this period in his life and wants people to see that he is an actor and not a mass monster who happens to act.

The laugs and little comments of your camerawoman are a nice touch, makes it somehow feel more comfy and warm than the older videos
He's looking healthier than last time!!🔥
That's the difference between being a batista fan, and being a muscle fan. I loved batista as a wrestler, i love his films. The man is allowed to look however he wants, doesn't change who he is.
Good for him! He was gorgeous in his youth.
Off camera tone of coach greg is so pleasent &
down to earth
Man, so many haters out there. Put the guy in a tank top and he probably looks better than 90% of those making comments. It's pretty obvious that people are not used to see what a "normal" healthy person looks like. He isn't jacked on peds nor is he obese. Anyone that isn't one of those things is "too skinny". 🤦
I love Bautista new looks he looks a lot happier, Calmer and Spirtually Awakened bro still looks Good people are just being Over Dramatic
I believe he deserves respect, And support. He is a great man and has taken on things that many cannot achieve.
Respect to the animal batista.
for future reference it's physique not physic. You might've just made an oopsie but there ya go.
@@Touma134 thx mate^^ im german so sometimes i struggle a bit with english :D
He did the right thing for himself, and so, he seems happier. Dave isn't winded, he seems to be calmer. Greg is right, you can't be that massive size forever, though it was pretty damn otherworldly.
2:05 did he say gardens of the galaxy???
Yes he did 😂😂😂
Hell yeah he did lmfao
Lmfao I just see random gardens floating through space... and it's fkn hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
10:48 and he called him Dave Bautitas 😂
What a coinciden…I was reading you comment exactly when he said it lol
I think the Hollywood obsession with looking young has broken our brains of what people actually look like in their 50s. To me he looks like a 55 year old man who works out and let the grey in his beard grow out. Not 70 lol
This is especially crazy if youre a huge wrestling fan and been watching Batista weekly since the mid 2000s.
People think he was jacked 10 years ago, go look at pictures of him im his prime around 2005.
Go look at his size when he fought against Triple H at Wrestlemania 21
“… when he fought against Triple H at Wrestlemania 21…”
Is that the one where he backed Triple H into a corner and then gave him a Most Muscular pose? Triple H shriveled like a little girl. 🤣
@@AZeneki haha mightbe been lol I forget but they had a long running fued back then so they had alot of matches in a short period of time
@@kinGsaL1515 I remember those days. 2003-2007 that was when HHH softened up. Wasn't abusing the PED's like he did '96-'02.
@@emello4you He was trying to get Stephanie McMahon (his wife) pregnant so he came off the gear and looked terrible lol
@@kinGsaL1515 yeah I remember he was gone for a while and came back feuding with Goldberg in 03 and I remember thinking to myself "Does he look smaller and softer or is because he's next to Goldberg" Lol. He definitely was sagging. He was rocking the shaved face too and then that 1800s mustache thing haha.
"Before GTA6 I might add" at 8:39 is CRAZY🤣🤣
These current era jokes he be throwing in crack me up.
I deadass chuckled
Do a natty or not on yo girl Greg, voice kinda deep
LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gregs wife is a man, what are you talking about.
brooo
I'm happy for Dave. He's one of the few wrestlers turned actors I actually respect and enjoy watching. The dude is a good human and deserves to be happy in his skin.
People writing hate comments 3 secs after the video dropped hahaha
If he feels better in this state then that's up to him. 💪
I am doubting the 240lbs at that picture.
The pic and clothes he's wearing make him look smaller but you can find other pics where he still looks pretty yoked
@jessekappler4160 I hope so. I have a lot of respect for David. Gear or no gear. 240 I feel is not a healthy weight for him?
Me 2!! What if be does have the hiv and that's why you lost so much weight it's the face drawn in gives it away maybe
@gking300 HIV is very treatable now. Plus I would hate to speculate like that. I just hope this is a mid life change and he is okay.
I do find it unbelievable he's that heavy. I'm 6'2 and have 18" arms and weigh 210 not that lean
Yesssss
and since that lime? what lime? 12:48
I once saw him in person in his WWE prime, swarmed by a crowd. I cant even begin to describe how big he was. Incredible how he kept up his size all these years. Good for him, he pulled the plug. He will always be huge, plus he’s a great actor. 👍
The title is wild lmao
😂
Yh lmao😂
He just added 20 years of healthy living to his lifespan... respect. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
3:29 Dave Bautita
LOOL 😂🤣
I saw somewhere he wants to get into more serious roles not just "the big guy" which is why he was talking about getting more acting roles. More acting roles that he actually wants to play and show off his acting skills beyond filling the frame
I think he looks sharp as hell. And he sounds like he's happy doing what he's doing and that's what matters!
Dave Patitas jaw dropping transformation took Greg harder than last time
I'm calling cap on him being 370 pounds. Eddy hall is 6'3" and around 370 now. Look how big he still is.
Edi hall is more like 6.1.5
Greg is a genius at this.
10:10 Coach Greg is always funnier than last time ! 😂😂
I'm happy for him, he's gonna live longer and healthier.
He wants to LIVE!!!! good for him!!!
If he would color his hair like how Greg does and shave his face like Greg would look younger
Greg makes more money making videos about Batista than Batista makes for losing weight for movies
He actually got more offers than before, because he was too big to fit most roles
Stupidest comment ever
Stupidest comment ever
No.
You don't have to be massive, to be healthy.Just get out there, and have fun.💙💛💙
Explain the woman's pant suit and the grandma pearls? Doing what his minders tells him to get the movie roles.
I can't watch coach Greg video without laughing, this man is mixing MESSAGE with ENTERTAINMENT
Illegal doesn't mean unethical or immoral. Also, you're a clown for figuring out how to insert woke into this. 😒
I can't appreciate anything about anybody who can't find something to appreciate about somebody just because of that.
I want to looks like him at his age. I love this man from back 2004, I genuinely rooting for him, and give a stockton slap to everyone who's dare to make fun of him.
One thing is to downsize, but to become gay.. 😂😂
He's right. Big difference between looking good and being healthy in many cases. Especially when you're blasting gear for 10, 15, 20 years.
Bodybuilders overcoming bigorexia is the fitness equivalent of rappers giving up the street life and growing old with their kids. Love to see it
Batista isnt a bodybuilder
He’s aged well for someone that was on the gear. I respect the fact he’s chose to leave the gear alone and be natural now at his age.
The fashion sense is the most shocking/worrying thing
guys i wanna tell you something...
The first synthetic anabolic steroids were derived from natural sources, with early testosterone extracted from animal testes. Today, although testosterone and anabolic steroids are produced synthetically in the lab, it’s important to be cautious. Knowing their origins and potential risks should make you think twice before taking them.
I assumed he was off the PED's
The people giving Bautista more cookbook than last time. The guy decided to prioritize his health, and I'm glad he did. I bet most of the people talking cookbook are smaller than Bautista is now.
He went vegan and turned gay.
Exactly. Look at that pearl necklace lmao he’s girlier than me!
People go through different chapters in their life. If he wants to prioritize his health good for him. He did a few Marvel movies, collected his checks, and decided he could take the gamble of losing his size. He honestly doesn’t care, if he manages his money well & invests wisely, he doesn’t have to work again.
dude looks like a lady.
