As someone who has a phobia of eating spicy food i really enjoy watching your videos. I have no trouble watching others eat it so i'm living my food dreams through you. I love your enthusiasm for food!

I love the way Mark explains the food. eg. the egg yolk, it was so descriptive ("lf I drop it on the ground it'll probably bounce back"). Love your work Mark.

Mark, you are becoming a master of turning street foods to be so famous. Your food adventure and introduction really made people feel like going to Thailand right away. Perhaps, I'm Asian and huge fan of soup noodle.
Also, your gesture of head tilting while enjoying first bite tasting has been approval signature and becomes your trademark. Keep going. Many fans of yours like your vids and approval signature.

It may sound weird but I prefer watching his vids to traveling & food shows on TV. They're much more relaxing.

That has nothing to do with the video and more about the fact that you are lazy and don't want to click on the next video

    • @TaywahT

+THConnoisseur Relax, that's not what he said. He meant he PREFERS watching Mark's videos as opposed to travel and food shows that ARE ON television.

THConnoisseur it actually has nothing at all to do with being lazy. People don’t watch TV the way they used to anymore. We have laptops and phones or on our smart TV’s now, we still watch TH-cam, Netflix, Hulu....it’s just better. Anyway, who tf wants to pay $200 a month for cable?!

This really brings me back, I studied at Ekamai International School, which is just a walking distance from that stall. Used to had the food here every now and then with my dad. He said the shop started as just a small stall (เพิงหมาแหงน) with no seats. It grew and he was able to rent all the wall areas and expand the shop into what it is today. Man, nostalgia from you Mark! Thanks for letting me see that the shop still sells!
I do think the owner is the previous owner's son though. ติงลี่ is not there anymore, oh yeah, that's what people called the shop, by it's owner's name Ting Li (ติงลี๋)

I also love how he includes his wife and now he has a baby. I'm still trying to catch up to his past videos! I don't know how he can eat so much and stay thin ?!? LOL , I wish I could do that ! Ha. I am soooo happy I found his videos...everyone have a nice day ❤❤❤

I hope you can visit a noodle stall just on the corner of River Court Apartments in Sukhumvit 41 .. It was the best tasting noodles I have ever tasted and would always remind me of Thailand, I am from the Philippines and I spent 3 years of my childhood summers in that area. After 11 years I was able to visit Bangkok last April and went to see if the stall still exist and I was so happy it still does, with the same owner who sells and prepares those amazing bowls of noodles. From 15 Baht in 1998 now its 45baht but with the same excellent taste. I'm planning to visit Thailand again next year and that noodle stall is on top of my list.

A bicycle vendor would come by our apartment every morning, about the time the Buddhist monks did their daily begging. He would shout "Diii..uuu Gai" and ring a bell. One of the best breakfasts, ever (15 cents a bowl in 1970) but pieces of chicken, and not quite the amount in your dish, Mark! Like you, it is best with the chili that our vendor would add (his budget amount :)

I, for the first time did not gain weight by watching one of Mark's videos. The chicken' soup looked so healthy and delicious. Hello acid reflux!

Utterly, utterly loved the location on the side of the road and the food was magnificent.Just adding the chilli made my tongue tingle and I was sweating along with you as we all watched you on the big screen whilst at lunch, which all seem extremely insipid and flaccid as a politician now, sigh!
Although we are from many places on earth we can so relate to these wonderful road side eating establishments. We have all experienced them as they are the cheapest form of eating out and as we are all of such limited means it is a great treat. The plethora of such food vendors in Bangkok seems extreme yet the quality is superb. Here in London the food is disgusting most of the time, yet a few golden nuggets exist without the chilli, but so expensive that it is really for the bourgeois.
As ever a great vlog that really connects with us peasants and of course more please.
