    What a focal point that's going to make! I think anything else in the room will pale in comparison! The green chairs in the vignette look great also! Thanks for sharing your journey!

      Six different people wanted to buy it - and none of them including the first person to actually commit and buy have an ideal place for it. One guy almost changed his choice of home in Paris for the piece 😂… I think it really did well at the show.

      Wow that's fabulous. It truly is a treasure. It will find a home and I'm sure be loved for another couple of hundred years. Keep us posted!❤

    The Grand Palais is definitely one of the most amazing buildings in one of the most stunning cities worldwide. The way they renovated it is absolutely insane !

      Yes it was wonderful to exhibit here. They now have a heated floor … which didn’t work perfectly but who cares - it’s the grand palais !

    It's great what you are doing and I really appreciate the videos and all the knowledge you share!
    I mean this with the most respect, but regarding the "crudeness" of the unseen parts to the piece, it's interesting to look at English pieces from the same period. Mostly, these are meticulously made, and the joinery is often of the best quality. 18th century France was obviously the powerhouse of design and influence, but it's interesting to see the construction methods as opposed to what the English were doing at the same time.

    • @MyersMonroe
      @MyersMonroe  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thank you - that’s a great point - I should have specified that the crudeness of unseen parts is a particularity of French work!

    Was the Fare a success for you? Any pieces find a home? If I may ask, can you do a behind the scenes video of filming, editing and those who assist you if any. Regards Barry

      It was great but long ! Yes the pieces sold the opening night - there will be a documentary coming out showing all the behind the scenes aspects! Will try to make something short for TH-cam though.
