Brendan Dawson The fact that Spy can see enemy HP makes Revolvers really good as well. They aren't just for last resort moments when you're caught, you see someone at low health at range or close? Whip out that gun and shoot them dead. Sapping a Sentry and the Engi is trying to repair it? Either sap it and try to stab the Engi if he goes to remove it which can lead you vulnerable, otherwise you can sap and then shoot him while he's removing the sapper. Alternatively if you're sapping any building and the Engi isn't around or is nearby, sapping and shooting the buildings you disable makes them go down even faster. The Revolvers actually do quite a good chunk of damage at close to mid ranges.

Luigi Fan45 When it comes to the player killing aspect I agree, but when it comes to securing a building kill it's actually the worst cause reduced damage (shared by L'tranger and Ambassador) and more importantly buildings are immune to crits, and there's no way you can not spend crits while shooting it.
For reason lately I have seen a strange upsurge in revolver spies though.

Perhaps my favorite thing about your TF2 vids is how you can make literally any class, cosmetic, or weapon, seem epic and liable. You literally made _all nine classes_ individually sound like the _best_ class in TF2.
The only games even remotely close to TF2's greatness is TF|2 and Deep Rock Galactic.
That’s why I love tf2 all of the classes feel so perfectly balanced and no one class feels like the GOD class of the game. Nearly every class can be the god class or a dumpster fire class depending on how the person is playing them.
Little known trivia. Spy was made because of a bug in the OG TF1.
That takes me way way WAY back. Although I stopped playing it between when that bug occurred and them actually releasing spy in favour of Action Quake and Future vs Fantasy.

I want a TF2 singleplayer Story Mode, with the player able to swap character at will, like in a Lego game. It would also help TF2 fit even better into the Valveverse. It'd also be perfect to show the camaraderie within the Reds, fighting the BLUbots.

9. Sniper, i've just never got into him
8. Spy, he's just not that fun. Waiting isn't that fun
7. Scout, similar to sniper.
6. Demo, I've gotten into playing as him (mostly to piss off 2fort snipers) but i'm gonna wait to play/get better as him

4. Medic, he helps the game, he's just fun.
3. Pyro, he's (to quote the 9 segment in top 9 weapons) "HOTASSHIT". Well, he's just fun.
2. Engineer is remarkable, i've yet to perfect how i play him but he helps the team while being fun.
1. (this is going to be a long one) Soldier. Oh my god, soldier. I've got a long attachment with this guy. When my computer was used for toasting bread, this was the only character that i could play with 10 fps. He was still fun, i tried basic rocket jumping, i shouted "THAT SNIPER IS A SPY" while on a sniper's head, and i generally had fun.
Now that i can run the game quite well, i played him more and more. I've gotten to the point where i can do decent hightower jumps, pull off a market gardern, be a roamer and generally have fun.
Funnily enough, ye olden day tf2ubers like muselk and star_ brought awe to him. I've watched loads of videos of them pulling of great things with such a basic idea for a class. I love this class, i want to master him. I probably won't, but damn if i don't try.
Logan, thanks for showing me and loads of others about the glorious characters in this game. May you continue with your great videos.

This being my both my first tf2 related video to ever see here on TH-cam and being introduced to you back at 2013, Jesus, the years have gone by pretty quickly. This truly did bring a lot of nostalgia for both my introduction to this fantastic FPS, but also to you Mr. Minion. So kudos to you good sir. And keep it going for months or even years to come!
I'm making a Pokemon Team based on the 2013 version of this list...with the movesets based the playstyles of the classes (or the idea I get from them). Here's my ideas so far:
* Heavy - Tank w/Stalling playstyle
* Medic - Uses moves like Wish, and Heal Bell w/ physical attacks
* Soldier - Slow Special Attacker
* Spy - Uses Stat Buffing moves, as well as Snatch, Punishment, Psych Up, Counter, and Mirror Coat). Has damaging moves with low accuracy, and high damage, and is a glass canon. Currently trying to pick between Substitute or Destiny Bond (if applicable) to count as representation for the Dead Wringer.
* Pyro - Stall/Phasing
* Demoman - Mixed Sweeper with low speed, spreads status.
* Demoknight - Fast Physical Sweeper, also a glass canon
* Engineer - Baton Passer, also uses moves like Future Sight, Solar Beam, and other moves which require a charge up turn. Or Momentum Moves (Rollout, Ice Ball, Fury Cutter)
* Sniper- uses moves that have a charge up turn or a recharge turn. Possible use of Super Fang to represent headshots
* Scout - Glass Canon that relies on flinching for maximum annoyance
...dunno how accurate this list is for the playstyles (or even the 2013 list) but there ya have it. Suggestions?
I think you should swap the attributes of Spy and Pyro. Since Spy has the ability to go invincible(aka Phasing) it would seem like a PERFECT choice.
This may sound kinda strange Minion....but I didn't feel this countdown as much as others that you've made. Not because "OLD FAWFUL WAS BETTER BLARGH" nothing like that. I think it's because to me, it sounded like you were just talking. That may sound strange, but whenever you talked about each class, it didn't feel like you were talking about them like in the original countdown. I'll most likely be the only one who felt like this. You're still a creative writer, no doubt about that, but I didn't feel like I felt this video. Over-dramatic? Sure, but that is how I felt. Carry on you crazy person!
I kinda felt the same way about it I have to say, in his original video his opinion about each class and why they where the number that he assigned was clearer, but in this video I feel his style of comedy and wacky southern euphemisms overshadowed his genuine opinion about each class in the state that they are now compared to the state they where in his original top 9, like apart from heavy and maybe scout he didn't explain why each class got moved up or down the amount on the list that they did, I feel like the original video had a nice mix between his style of comedy and being a real review of each class, though maybe this is an intentional shift by him into a move comedy eccentric review style, but I still miss hearing his blunt opinion and points he makes about the things reviews on his top whatever lists and hope this isn't going to be a permanent style change in his video making.
I feel like this too, as if he didn't explain, and all he did was talk instead of actually giving reasons as for why he put a class here or something (for example, he never said why he put medic so low , unless I missed it)

My personal top 9 of Mann Co, Line-up of Crazed Gunmen and Lone Assassins:
9. Spy: As much as his concept is unique and basically not up for being copied, I despise Spy Mains like anyone. Sometimes it feels like they are EVERYWHERE! But at least those new players make for funny af moments
8. Medic: To cut this clear, I don't hate medic, I just plain suck at it. Medic is like explained in Logan's List of Crazy Gunmen, he's interesting but SERIOUSLY hard to master. Then again, I highly respect Meem Mains more than I respect myself, and that is really good
7: Soldier: Where to start with this Crazed Painis shooting Murican? It's kinda hard to hate a class that is the emblem of TF2's Legendary accessibility. But I have some problem with him. The scariest thing in TF2 that I can think off is a Soldier Main who is basically a Roamer with God-like DM skills. ESPECIALLY if set Roamer is using the 'Aerial'
6: Sniper: Sniper is a mixed mess for me, for one my girl is good at him, so he's higher than he would've been if not for that. But he's still quite low considering I suck at it meself if not using the Cuntsman, and my experiences with those pesky VAC-Bots from last year he got placed really low.
5: Scout: Placement is the same with Sniper, but unlike Sniper, Scout is a class that I don't have any bad experiences with, and I also respect any Competent Scout main
And now, the 4 classes that I consider mains
4: Demoman: Straight Up, I love this guy. He was one of the classes I started playing before I got Premium and I only gotten better with him. He's my go-to when High Stakes are in and flushouts or Sentry Nest destruction is needed. But the biggest thing I like about him is the fact how fun Sticky Jumping is. And don't even get me started on Demoknight! He would be Higher if the other classes didn't outclass him for me tho.
3: Heavy: In Soviet Russia, Bullet Fire you! Heavy is by far my favorite class for a long time, he's a big guy carrying a big Bullet Pump, ripping Babies to shreds. For the longest time, I was a Pure Heavy main and i was proud of that. The biggest reason was that I got the highest points in one Casual match for the first time with him. but times changed and I got better at other classes.
2: Pyro: This flame Demon is what I consider my First Main, since I can do a lot of stuff with this guy. His range maybe short, but Oh Boy, if you haven't seen his secondary options, you're missing out hard. Things like the Good ol' shotty, to things like the Flare gun or the Scorchy, Pyro is great. I respect Pybro's even more, not bias or anything(Cough I'm a Pybro Cough) since competent spies can demolish an Engie's shit faster than anything
1: Engineer: If anyone paid notice, Engineer is my number 1 class, He's a Texan Inventor with an extreme Memelord throne. Opinions are different per person, but I love this guy, building Defensive Turrets, Supportive Ammo and Health Kits and offensive Portable spawners. This guy is the Teamplayers, Unless you have a Delfy type but eh.

My top 9:
9: Soldier. I don’t really like playing him, sure his dps is great and rocket jumping is cool, but I don’t like how offensive he is.
8: Scout. Speedy, Vulger, and immature. I like the speed and his weaponry, but it’s sooo hard to master him.
7: Spy. Becoming everyone’s nightmare and an insta-kill backstab. Love it, but I can’t do crap with it. Everyone always seems knows if I am spy.
6: Pyro. His mystery was never on my concern, but his fire afterburn and flare gun are just fun and insanely great, but I often forget his airblast.
5: Heavy. Like...I don’t think I need to say why he’s here. He fun with his mini gun dps and his voice is great.
4: Sniper. Sniping is a job mate, and you do it with pride, but lately, I want to do something different. “Be polite” part of the job I want to start doing.
3:Demoman. Demo-knight or a black bomber, either or, it’s a good amount of fun each time.
2: Engineer. He so nice, and I love it, and his machines are a great thing to use for your allies.
1: Medic. I love playing support, and the medic call never angers me, It’s an immediate call for help and I’m willing to do it, but screw those spies. But it doesn’t matter, I love it, and I will be their saving grace!
9 : for me it has to be pyro it is not that i don’t like playing him it is just that When ever i pick him i feel i can do it better with a nother class
8 : sniper i have to say poppin heads is fun but man when it is your head that is being popped over and over again even somehow at pointblank range it can be demorelizing
7 : engie look i like sepored but when it takes 30 seconds to build my shit and takes 3 for a demo to distroy it is not worth my time in most situations. Of corse the robot arm helps with speed and then the challenge is on. And let me mention the creativity it is my favorite part.
6 : spy look my friend ... wait you can’t let me tell you insta kills are amaizing it is just so satisfing to intenly wiep that grin if the face of the plannet. Sure it may be anoing if you are getting a back masage. But if you have a good defence. I know just the snake who can sap the buildings and kill these stikky happy one eyed men.
5 : scout. let me tell you speed is amaizing and shotguns are powerfull in comenation they are deadly sure meatshot a lot himself is a bag of fun. Making the enemy medic your bitch and taking out people behind enemy lines is amaizing. What a aim hack gun is in your way well that one eyed friek had some good advice “have a drink” sure no secondery damage can suck but sins i use milk, It is not that big of a los.
4 : demo. look if you ask me are bullets stronk i say yes but do you really need them i say no. Just bom the bitches and if that Don’t work here a sword and a shield go nuts becouse trust me you are nuts. Is there a sentry in your live that needs to die then i am here fore you and while I’m at it al take the intire enemy team with me. Just gif me one dose of kritz.
3 : soldier its a bird it’s a plane it is an amaican ready to kick your ass even thow carachter wise he is at the bottom game play wise he is just fun. Bommin people expodin people domenating people it is hard to go wrong with soldier. And no one disrecpect the master of tf2s air domain.
2 : heavy look explosons are cute we need bullets and I ain’t takin baby shotguns. We need a wall that is made asmuts of bullets as it is made of man meat. I love heavy oké he is fun and a real challenge to get the most out of but when done write he will kick your ass. I’m just sad at how situwasinal he is when ever I play him I feel like I can do more with demo. But when it comes to fun heavy beats him 9/10 times
1 : medic look killing is overrated sure (epic frags) are fun but who is going to heal those bo bo’s when you come out of the fight. A dispecier no maybe a heath kit sorry no but when the doctor comes everyone will shoot safly what you are low health and there is a rocket coming don’t worry I have a little crossbow that will heal you in a pinch. The crossbow my favorite weapon in the game sure Uber is in portant but how can I heal you if your across the map. And if it happens you will see me as a god. Before I make you one.

Finally Pyro gets appreciation. Although, everyone loves all the classes.
I feel really bad for all of the pyro mains out there. He does a lot more than people give him credit for.
KeroBero I agree, it’s pyro’s job to deny enemy pushes, ubers and projectiles, stop spies harassing engies and medics, hold the flanks, hold the last ditch defenses and god forbid if you aren’t also dealing damage and afterburn to force enemies to fall back.
KeroBero I guess heavy is more of a pushdenier, and demo more of a damagedealer, but still.
Pyro is the invisible backbone that holds everything together.
You totally need to team up with a bunch of TF2 players and do a SFM where you portray your favourite classes, like you being Scout, for example.

Here is my ranking of the classes.
9. Demoman - I wish I could put him higher but I suck at this class so much.
8. Sniper - My aiming sucks a lot so I can't really put him any higher.
7. Soldier - Rocket Jumping. 'Nuff said.
6. Scout - He's fast but pretty weak. I don't play this class much.
5. Spy - Ugh, I have a love-hate relationship with this class. As a Spy, I love this class. Being sneaky and being able to fool the enemy always feels good. But as every other class, I despise this class.
4. Pyro - Or mostly Pybro. I only ever play Pyro for one reason and that is to be an Anti-Spy class. Once I've been backstabbed on more than one occasion, I instantly switch to Pyro and get my revenge. Although, airblasting projectiles does feel good at times. However, like I said as a Pybro, if we're playing defensive, our Engie is going to attract a lot of Spies so it's best to always Spy-Check near them. I just love being there for my fellow Engie. Although, as a BLU Pyro, it does feel pretty good to go full beserk on the enemy team.
3. Medic - Sadly the least played class. I can definitely understand why though. Once you play Med, you instantly have an irremovable sign attached to you that says, "AIM HERE! STAB HERE! SHOOT HERE!". However, I still love being there for the team and keeping them alive. Plus, I also love the feeling of power where you get to decide who lives and who dies. I hate the "E" button though. However, I love those who say thanks after I've healed them. I tend to follow them more.
2. Engineer - I never thought he would be up there but here he is. My second most played class. I love the different ways you can play Engie. There are three ways you can play him. Defensive, where you just build you Sentry Nest to defend the area. Passive-Aggressive, where you defend the area but are not afraid to pull out your shotgun to make sure the enemy stays out. Aggressive, where you just go full battle mode and go out on the frontlines to defeat the enemy.
1. Heavy - My most played class. People say there's no such thing as a Heavy Main well I beg to differ. Heavy is always my first pick. I just love being a beast in the battlefield and mowing down unsuspecting opponents is always awesome.

Scout isn't weak, he is strong. He can literally fight anyone in a 1v1. Its probably the way you play that makes him seem weak to you

My top 9 classes:
1- *Soldier* :
The soldier is not my favourite class but is the best in terms of gameplay for me. You can destroy people with 1 rocket, you can rocketjump one place to another, you don't need that much aim and has a great balance defense/attack.His high HP helps him resist pretty good and his different weapons are excellent when needed. One of the most polivalent classes in the game.
2- *Spy* :
I'll be honest here. I'm not the best Spy. You need quite a good aim with your pistol and Spy is a very specific class that should be used in specific moments of the match, and it's a character that needs good mental strategy. His 1v1 against other classes normally end up badly for him. But this character is unique in the world of videogames; backstabs,trickstabs,stairstabs,sapping buildings,becoming invisible,fast character, disguising... Incredibly fun to play with or absolutely shitty, incredibly easily destroy or easily get destroyed... It's the class that everyone hates but everybody plays as many would say.
3- *Medic* :
What a marvelous class. Without this class TF2 would be a very independent place full of selfish people. And this class is the one that solves most of the problems. Medic heals and ubers, Medic saves people to help the team as a whole, because even if gets destroyed in 1v1s against many classes he can easily beat them with the help of others. Everyone wants a medic in their team. No matter the situation. And that's what makes it so marvelously good to play with. However, Medic is not that easy to play and with time and practice he turns into a beast to help others become beasts.
4- *Demoman* :
Possibly one of the most difficult classes to understand and master. Easy to spam his stickies and grenades but very difficult to aim. Not the best for newbies but brilliant for advanced players. A good demoman can help greatly to the team,and even though his 1v1s are worse than the Soldier's,his ability to help in both attack and defence make him as good or even better than the Soldier. Plus,he easily counters engineer nests and reaches long and unreachable places that others can't. Great but hard to play with.
5- *Scout* :
Best mobility(both pace and double,triple,even quatriple jumps) and best class for offence and flanking in CP/CTF modes. He's gotta be the most annoying bastards in this game. Can perfectly 1v1 all classes and run while he can in case of trouble. A good scout knows where to go and when to shoot,he knows also what to do and what to avoid. Scouts are excellent to flank and be a distraction for the enemy team, but it's a class with whom you'll die a lot. Like, a lot lot.
6- *Pyro* :
Pyro is the 1st *meh* class of my list. It's fun to play but apart from airblast and afterburn damage it's not that much of a pain in the ass. Except if you're a Spy. Or a Scout. Or a Sniper. Well. What I want to say is,Pyro is good,but not that good. Some will say it's OP and Pyro mains should kill themselves,others will say it's the worst class in competitive terms. I dunno, it's a meh for me.
7- *Sniper* :
I think that Sniper is cool but sometimes I think that I play too much that class. He's not the best and at close range he usually gets killed,but his long range headshots are to be respected. Not the most original class of the game but it still rocks playing him *when you actually land those juicy headshots* . Either you feel very bad playing him either you feel like you're some type of god. I think people understand me.
8- *Engineer* :
It's no secret Engineer is the chillest character in the game and that he's enjoyable to play with. But I personally think that investing so much time building things to then instantly get destroyed by a 2000-hours demo main or by a Medic-Heavy pair sucks,so that's why he's placed the 8th. On the other hand,trolling with this guy is great. Examples:placing sentries and teleporters in weird places, playing Battle engineer, camp next to your Intel to destroy every approaching enemy,etc.
9- *Heavy* :
Poorest mobility, poor individual damage,main target of everyone in the other team... I don't have the patience,like with the Engi,to spend time dealing with these. I just prefer playing more direct characters,rather than playing this Russian guy. I still love him.

I read it all but I have to say survival as heavy is the main goal of a heavy main. Not just getting more kills. Dipping in and out of combat , managing heath, getting attention to miss direct a push. There is more team play required then a scout, soilder or demo. But it can still be fun and powerful.
