Sounds pretty interesting. But with Duke, War Chest, Boop, Tak, and probably at least one other modern abstract I'm forgetting. I have so many abstracts that are all similar slices of this kind of game. I enjoy them all, but only need so many.
That is totally fair. I will just note that this is still Deanna's favourite and she's played quite a few times after this review. So it may be with trying if you can.
@@TabletopBellhop Yeah, this isn't so much my disputing the game I'm sure it's fun, it's the type of game I do enjoy. I just don't need all the games - despite my want for all the games.
Many many times, and of the two I prefer Zensu. Now that could be because I played Onitama many many times, but I think it's more than that. I find Onitama to be a bit too quick, Zensu takes longer and feels a bit deeper because of it. Sometimes the moves are obvious in Onitama where as I don't find that comes up as often here. I'm personally happy that I have both in my collection and I'm sure Onitama will hit the table again, but I can see how people may not want two similar games in their collection. I also strongly recommend The Duke, that is the game we played the most two player before discovering Zensu.
We are always open to new reviews, but we do have a significant back-log right now and it would be months before we get to anything new. Here is a link to our Review Policy: tabletopbellhop.com/review-policy/
Love this game so much!

Have you played Onitama? This sounds like it scratches the same itch.

Is it possible to submit a game for review? 👀 TIA
