This was good thanks for the added inspiration of needing some "me time " that's what I'm after a few days to self ! Thanks bunches !ps. I do van life in orange county most times originally from Cali still gathering the nerve to get to Joshua tree I also crochet so eager to visit crochet museum 😊
It's a huge site with a great view! Just be prepared because it's a bit of a walk from the parking spot to the campsite. But it's well worth it for the privacy and space! I think your bell tent will totally fit! Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you! We stayed in spot 101 which was a spot a bit of a walk away from the parking but the views were awesome. You don't think you can camp outside campsites. There is a ranger station and they seem to drive around often.
This specific trip was in July and I just recently camped in Joshua Tree this past January. I always keep an eye out and book last minute cuz people periodically will cancel and I snatch the campsite. If I'm booking advance for Joshua Tree I try to book at least 3 months in advance. They do book up SO fast :/ Hope you're able to get a spot. Thanks so much for watching.
I got it from Walmart! It's heavy but still so convenient :) Heres the link: www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-128-Portable-Steel-Hammock-Stand-Grey-Color/446714067?athbdg=L1600
@@AlexRosaGoesOutside thanks! I went to Joshua tree before but needed an off road vehicle for the certain camp sites we went to. Are those spots reserved?
oh for sure, definitely depends on the campsite you get. Spot 101 was insanely private, and Ive stayed in other cove-like spots, but others are right next to spots for sure.
Hmm now I'm contemplating it thanks!

Gurrrl we'te twins....I totally get you. Thank you for the tips. I've always wanted to Solo camp within the Joshua Tree🤠 Monument Park 🤗

This was cool , cheers!
Indian Cove is great. Did you hike to the hidden waterfall area? My son learned to rock climb with the gear there.
I didnt even know there was a a hidden waterfall! Time to plan another trip and find it ;)
The vault pit-style rest rooms are less stenchy than what you would normally expect?
how big is site 101? Trying to figure out if I can fit a 13ft x 13ft bell tent there. I booked it for February. Thanks for the video!

Awesome, just booked !
Where did you get that hammock ?
It's an ENO hammock. I got it as a gift but it was bought from REI. And the portable hammock stand is from Walmart :)
@@AlexRosaGoesOutside thank you.
Super duper park
Hi, cool video..what campsite # were you at? Are we allowed to camp outside the campsite?
Thank you! We stayed in spot 101 which was a spot a bit of a walk away from the parking but the views were awesome. You don't think you can camp outside campsites. There is a ranger station and they seem to drive around often.
In what month did you go? It's pretty much all booked up for the spring and even early summer

Do I need an off road vehicle?
@@armygreenfj3924 No, not at all :) There are easily accessible roads throughout the campground.

Privacy yes best in Indian cove totally debatable
