I've spent many nights at the Cedar City Walmart between Zion or Bryce Canyon. You're gonna break me out of my ruts, Rosa. Next time I'm in Cedar City, I'll go west. I pinky promise.

Rose those last pics were awesomely beautiful. Ur walk thru the monoliths canyon was eerie simply because they were made of mud as u scraped the wall n also the ground. What caused those holes n the wall. Not a place you want 2 be in a storm. Rosa U have a photogenic eye for capturing beauty in a desolate place. May the Lord continue to protect n keep u safe! It would have been nice to have cheesey garlic bread with it (with parmesan also). And maybe a Steve step two (IPA) 😘
It really was. I saw everything from beautiful weather to snow 😂 I definitely would have had a beer but I was in a public overlook and people tend to not approve of drinking in a car lol

Lol basil is the only plant I’ve ever been able to keep alive.. just don’t overwater it and it does pretty well in indirect sunlight. Amazing views and so so muddy. 😊
It looks like the kind of place you need to leave bread crumbs to find your way out. Further, looks like parts of the path are not wide enough for a man to fit through.
Sorry... you told where you were this time... the other hot springs I don't know where they are at... like to make a may of states with free hot springs when I start to travel. By the way if you like scrambled eggs... a pita bread cut in half has a pocket you can put the eggs in and carry it around, note any liquids (melted butter) leaks down onto your hand.

Looked like you ended up with 20lbs of mud on your boots. Guess that's extra strength training for the stair climb. Are most people that you've met on your adventures pretty chill? Anybody that really stands out? Parmesan for life!
I was not expecting that level of mud 😂 and yes, I've truly met the best people on the road. I'd say the people I worked with in Death Valley really win. I loved that place and those people so so much ❤️

I hate mud, only if I have the proper ppe will I deal with it w/o being squeamish. Great name for your elemnt btw. I just got a used E a month or so ago and almost named it after an elf too... Elfo of disenchantment. Couldnt cuz the last owner said it was a She :( . so then I thought, ill name her after the trog trixie, but think theres a whole lotta wrong there. But yeah video had loads of great Elements, pun intended ..from the views, the mud, the food, to the stuggle. I'm always afraid of the knock on my E but Im just a newb and part timer at car camping. take care take luck. Cheers!

I have. I would say they are extremely reliable. Now that my Element is getting older, I would say in the last few years, I've had to spend around $1k to $2k a year on maintenance. Which isn't bad at all. I think what makes it so good, is it really is a simple bare bones design. No fancy electronics or anything. I love this car. But I know they are getting harder and harder to find.
@@lifeinmyelement definitely hard to find! Shortly after I bought my Prius, I saw a very clean one for sale for 6k. I don't necessarily regret my decision to build out my Prius but I know the element would be a lot more comfortable 😂 Safe travels!

Ummmm.....you do know that canyons like this are often formed by water? It's a good practice, even in the desert to avoid them in the rain. I don't know if it happens in the valley of fire, but in many places in the desert, people are killed with surprise torrents of water rushing down bone dry river beds and canyons from upstream rain storms. Just a thought. Interesting fact, an average of 114 people are killed each year in flash (not regular) floods which is the type of flood I am talking about. Keep safe.
