I have the original NU25 (2017?) with a custom lightweight band. Despite being micro-USB it’s still generally preferred by the ultralight hiking community over the replacement being lighter with a simpler interface and having a 1 lumen setting

That was the NU20, I think. My favorite headlamp. Simple, easy, so OF COURSE Nitecore discontinued it. Not everyone needs to baby their eyes with red light. Low lumen should be fine.

@@LP-jn4tw definitely the discontinued 2017 NU25. The 1 lumen runtime is claimed to be 160 hours per Nitecore website.
All it needed was USB-C …

I still prefer the original NU25 and it's UI great headlight still going strong after several yrs of use 💯
