  • A defense attorney insisted that Nipsey Hussle called Eric Holder a "snitch," which triggered Holder to shoot him out of rage. "While he's charged with first-degree premeditated deliberate murder, in fact, it should be voluntary manslaughter," the defense attorney said.

    He clearly doesn't think this line of reasoning will keep his client out of prison. His lawyer is trying to reduce the charge from 1st degree murder to involuntary manslaughter by showing it was not premeditated. Don't think it'll work though because didn't he leave and come back?

    • @jx14aby
      @jx14aby 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Actually, he's shooting for voluntary manslaughter. There can be a thin line between first degree murder and voluntary manslaughter. That's why Mr. Jenson said it all happened pretty quick - less than ten minutes. For voluntary manslaughter, all you need is provocation that will make an ordinarily reasonable person act rashly. And you take into consideration any "cooling period" before the fatal shot. All legitimate questions. But confidence is low.

      If I was a Public Defender, I would NOT advise my client to take a plea, here’s why; the charge is First Degree Premeditated Murd3r, which means the Prosecution must prove premeditation, all the Defense has to do is convince ONE juror that it was NOT premeditated, the jurors must unanimously vote on a guilty verdict but all it takes is one juror to make it a hung jury and his client gets off on a hung jury verdict and if the jury pool is at all tainted in anyway, guess who walks away a free man? Yes, The Defense is not denying murd3r, its the premeditation part which just might hang the jury. This is just my opinion nothing more. I pray Nipsey gets justice but the Prosecution is not strongly and convincingly proving premeditation in my opinion.

    Even if he did call him a snitch it doesn’t give him the right to kill him ? That’s a Bad defence . After watching more of the video I understand what’s happening here he’s defence is saying that it wasn’t premeditated and he acted on the spare of the moment.

      I’m not justifying it all bc I’m not part of that world but I guess calling someone a snitch in that world is like casting them out and once they are cast out they need to be dealt with eventually. So in a sense it was a shot at his loyalty to their gang and that’s all they have so it was pretty much a death sentence to him. At least that’s the defense they are going with and they could say it was self defense at this point

    Why is the DA referring to the victim as Nipsey Hussle??? Instead of the name from birth and death certificate??

    this lawyer should be sued for malpractice, wtf kind of defense is this? At least say his client feared for his life, that he was threatened to be killed for snitching and he acted in in self-defense. Poor people get no representation

    These rappers get killed because they can't get away from their previous lives...he shouldn't have gone up to an active gang member and called him a snitch.putting a death sentence on someones head...He's was a rich man who should've got away from that lifestyle .simple as that.

    Since when do they refer to the deceased victim by their nickname. Glad his family not showing up to watch the trash being taken out. Nipsey was loved by his family and close friends but his set was jealous of him and sent this 2 handed shooter (true to his nickname) POS to handle him. Thats the only reason he is able to walk around in that suit otherwise it would be covered in dirt. If he did not plan this why did he just happen to have 2 guns. Wouldnt be surprised if this same PD Lawyers weren't Rollin 60's and Big U gathered and scraped the money from the bottom to pay somebody to help their boy walk right out the door and get picked up around the corner by whats his name BobCat? Alley Cat? Cowboy.

    I’m regards to a public defender , everybody knows Eric is guilty so at this point he already knows that this man is going to jail he’s just trying to convince them to lessen the charge ! It’s not much of a defense he can really use . If he goes free that definitely lets us know that he’s and informant ! Or even is he get away with a few years, SNiTCH.. in my opinion
