A year after release and a lot of content has died down, and chase is just casually out here with the best ER videos since the game came out lol

@@Rumcajs981 Vgr/Str build at the moment, those are the only two things hes been levelling properly. Though I'm sure we'll be seeing more split between Vgr, End and Str when we start getting closer to things like Mountaintops.
I can confirm that the "Golden Scarab" Talisman does indeed work for Invasion runes!
At 38:16, you got 570 runes. Killing someone as an Invader grants 4% of their most recent level-up's cost as a reward.
570 / 0.04 = 14250, which doesn't align well with any Level cost.
14250 / 1.2 [multiplier of Golden Scarab] = 11875, which is just one short of 11876, being the cost to level from 43 to 44.

7:45 It's important for you to know that regen crystal tear doesn't stack with regen incantations such as bestial vitality, they overwrite each other counting as buffs, of course regen gained from equips like the shield and the talisman can stack with temporary buffs, but you can only have one regen type buff active at a time

Once you've defeated a boss in a dungeon, you can freely fast travel out of the dungeon. No need to run all the way through the dungeon to exit.
That's right, but sometimes I do it in case I have forgotten something on the dungeon
I feel like sometimes it still locks me out.. either way, in dungeons a fast travel to the entrance point appears in the boss room.
Chase the Bro? Nah. Chase the Goat! You helped me improve my pvp play back in DS3 and develop a love for being invaded. (I use to hate the pvp aspect, but that's because I wasn't good.) Now you have helped me learn and improve on Elden Ring as well

For reference, I first commented that physik effects are all counted as unique effects so they probably don't get overwritten, but I became less sure about the regen and deleted my comment, which I probably shouldn't have done even if I don't know if I'm right
@@Sningsardy It's a strange one. Braggarts roar and stamina regen physick stack, but it does not stack with turtle meat. The physick damage reduction does stack with prawn, but the health regen physick does not stack with any spells. It's not logically clear what stacks and why without looking it up
These videos are so refreshing, not speedrunning the main bosses, just going through the game with really unique pvp gameplay, seeing you use all these weapons interchangeably and so smoothly is really impressive. I could watch forever!

Make sure to pick up poison fang in the abandoned cave (you can climb up the statue where the plant is)
and the serpent bow!

Bad red with the bleed dismounter was pretty good, had some good mixups and bait. Shame they got done in by the frostbite stunning them into spinning slash and the PvE

Chase, the reason why you still get stormveil at 40s is because a lot of people cheese the dragon boss using bleed by Fort Farroth. Gives 100k souls in the first hour of the game.
Oh, quick shout-out. Don´t forget flame cleanse me, Chase ! Easy to obtain, cheap in use, just a minor HP cost.
Easiest and cheapest way to heal scarlet rot early game - and without relying on non respawning (!) rescources !
Throw in some regen after some uses and all you lose is a tiny amount of FP. The poor man´s bollous.
I also started doing this, but changed that I also can use legacy boss souls. I was stuck at level 15 apparently because of how bad I am at pvp. It's hella fun though.
try invading around stormveil or at church of elleh on nearby only, church usually find ppl doing the erdtree sentinel so easy cheesy souls and stormveil has so many ambush spots and if you use mimic veil to be a barrel or crate you can usually knock someone off one of the many fall spots when exploring the side half of stormveil or catch them off guard at the areas with birds that throw barrels. Also try and focus on ashes of war on long reaching weapons to help you against the vast majority of people that get others to drop op weapons, skills, and armor to them at the start.
I never thought of Elden Ring as a series of caves, stones, curated weapon inventory and level. I think I used about 5-6 weapons in my play throughs and completely missed half the quests because you need a guide open to understand what to do for half of them.
This is making me want to do another playthrough and invade more.
Chase, the regen armor dropped by ensha is made so that people don't die from DoT! Next time you're scarlet rotted in a dungeon keep that in mind so you won't die as you did.
Happy to see the great mace get some love. It doesn't do all the cool things the spiked great mace does, but it looks so clean and doesn't block vision.

I would love it if you did the volcano manor assassinations leading to the serpents bone blade. It’s the poison rivers of blood style katana and I think it would complement your poison play. Loving this series! Keep up the great work!

Hey Chase, really enjoying the series so far, keep it up! A quick tip: unless it's been changed since I last played, you should be able to use seals that you don't have the stat requirements to use to cast character buffs. This means you can easily free up 1.5 wgt. by switching your Clawmark Seal for, say, the Dragon Communion Seal to cast your buffs, such as Bestial Vitality and Magic Fortification.

Physick flask regen DOES NOT stack with regen incantations, since both of them counts as same category of buff (HP regen-type). Since the Crimson burst tear heals 7hp/sec and lasts 3 mins, any sort of regen incantation aside from the Erdtree's Blessing would be less effective than it.

Bro, during invasions you are always so positive, I would be very concentrated during invasions, and try to find a tactic, but you on the other hand just choosing whatever you want to choose.

This dude a legend in elden ring if he actually shows ALL his PvP fights. I rarely see him lose
I have a theory. I think the reason why you're still invading people going through Stormveil at RL40ish is because these are people doing that method where you go to Caelids early and, with a bleed weapon, kill the dragon mom with prickled foul foot and make the Night's Chivalry under beast's sanctum jump off the bridge. That whole route gives you enough runes to put you at around RL40. The guy at 30:45 has done that and put all his points into STR/DEX/INT/FAI to use the weapon his friend gave him, putting zero points in VIG. I don't why in a sane mind would you then choose to try doing coop after doing that, considering any invader at that rune level will one shot you with a cough one million miles away, but... it was funny.

Love your content bro! This was a cool idea for a vid series. Might have to give this leveling strat a try, looks fun as hell.
You can get super overleveled just by doing all the content in the game if you don't lose a lot of souls before getting to the Altus Plateau. On my latest playthrough I think I was level 95 or 100 before reaching that point, with a couple of +6 and maybe one +9 somber weapons. I had finished both Ranni and Fia's questline, and I think the first time I stepped on the Altus Plateau was when I went through the portal on Fia's Champions. These underground areas have a lot of high level smithing stones.
Cool series, I love it! Also, the Flame Cleanse Me incantation helps with scarlet rot, and the Sacrificial Axe restores FP per enemy killed. It also works during invasions when hosts kill random enemies.

There are three forms of Elden Ring content I consume: lore dives, challenge runs, and Chase’s pvp videos.
This series combines two of those perfectly.
All I need now if for Chase to just casually drop lore tidbits like some kind of Lands Between tour guide and he will pull off the hat trick.
My favorite thing is hosts wailing on you, wasting all their stamina, while you backstab someone.
This is such a cool series. I stopped playing Eldin Ring ftm, but I'm loving watching the pvp grind.

The big thing I'm learning from this series is that for some reason lots of over levelled co-op phantoms seem to kinda be massive cowards and would rather let their hosts die than actually engage in a fight.

Nightrider Glaive might be a good option for another halberd, S scaling in Strength with Heavy infusion. Comes from the Night's Cavalry on the road to the Lift of Dectus.

Yo Chase, quick tip: if you use the Cleanse me spell, the one that gets rid of poison and rot, you also reset the cold build up!
Can be useful when low on boluses
It doesn't reset frostbite buildup, but it does cure the status once it's inflicted. This is because it does a negligible amount of fire damage to you when you use it. Still useful, though.

Hi Chase. This series is really great. Was thinking after this series you could use this same profile and do an NG+ mini series where you fight bosses as cosplays of themselves . You’d probably have most of the gear so it might be possible. Great video as always.
Since you've been to Altus, you can grab the Smithing Bell Bearing 1 from Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel for +6, the Smithing Bell Bearing 2 from the Sealed Tunnel in Altus leading to Divine Tower of West Altus for +12, the Somberstone Bell Bearing from Sellia Crystal Tunnel for +2, and the Somberstone Bell Bearing 2 from Altus Tunnel for +4.

From the quick research I did yes the golden scarab does work for multiplayer and pvp.
Also you can stack your flash regen with beastal or erd tree blessing. It won’t stack and they cancel which ever one was first used out. It’s like when you try to use black flame protection and flame grant me strength at the same time
