Greetings from a dark and cloudy Torrance! What the heck happened to the sun? Enough of the weather, hope you are doing well sir! This video was a great reminder to start with a good bankroll to survive the times when the game is pulling back. It can get really discouraging when I lose 8 to 10 hands in a row, but I also do know that this is just part of the game and is to be expected(just not liked). I do have a new rule(with many), that when Mom starts to get hot on a machine, I have to leave and get far away from her. She can literally pull all the luck out of the room and I have to get out of her vortex. LOL. I have seen this too many times for it to be a coincidence. Anyways, Thanks again sir and I will let you know when we get to Pala!
What a great story, Paul! I always look forward to your comments. Thank you so much for sharing your insights, knowledge and experiences. You’re just the best! Greetings to your mom, as well.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
John as a Bonus Poker player only myself (learned from watching you) I wish you posted more/played more and had longer sessions! I love your videos. The bad thing at 7:50 is when the bankroll gets cut in half you dang near need to hit a quad just to get back to even!
Yes….I will start posting more. I lost approximately 20 filmed sessions when my phone was stolen at Valley View casino. I was heartbroken over it. I have a new phone now and will start to post more soon. Pala Part 3 will be out this week. Thank you for your loyal viewership!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thanks for the video John. Keep the videos coming, love the instructions for building a bankroll. Bonus poker has always been my game but lately it has not been good to me. Say hello to your wife for me, take care and be safe.
Thank you for your comments, Jeff. And, yes, as low the volatility of 8/5 Bonus Poker is…..it too, can have tough variance when raises it’s ugly head from time to time. Sooner or later though, it’s been my experience that it doesn’t last forever and things can turn around for the better. Good luck, my friend.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Thank you. It could have been sweeter had full houses & flushes helped out more, but I’ll take it. Every hand was a shot at either an $8,000 or $20,000 Royal Flush and mostly on House money. Thank you for your comments.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Good eye! Yes, that was a glaring mistake and I was distracted in the casino. I meant to point that out in my video, but doing so would have been difficult & time consuming due to my narration when it occurred. Thank you for pointing it out though because it’s important that viewers learn from my mistakes to improve their play. Take care my friend. I appreciate your awareness in the game.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Great video! Moving up in the denomination is scary and risky. Congrats on hitting the Royal recently!!! If you weren't filming, would you move to a different machine?
Thank you, Pecunious. Pala has a lot of great pay tables but very few single line games in their high limit area so I was stifled a little in having a choice to move to another machine since they were occupied at the time. Later at night (with fewer players around) I would have moved to another machine. It’s not that the machine was bad per we, (since I hit 2 quads on it) but it wasn’t rolling along and hitting everything from JoB to Full Houses consistently enough. I’d say that it was a somewhat average session.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Yes, I flubbed that one up by being distracted in the casino. I meant to point that out in my video, but doing so would have been difficult & time consuming due to my narration when it occurred. Thank you for pointing it out though because it's important that viewers learn from my mistakes to improve their play. Take care my friend. I appreciate your awareness in the game.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I’ve been fortunate enough to have hit 41 Royal Flushes with very meager bankrolls. I’m close to $500,000 in win amounts on Royal Flushes. $250,000 of that total came off of just a $1,000 bankroll. So, even though sessions come and go (win, lose, or draw) my aggravate win is so high (albeit rare & unusual; but not impossible) that I can say that I have “no losses” in video poker. The only money that I lose in video poker is “House money” which is “not” a personal loss. I just hit a $20,000 Royal off of a $500 bankroll last weekend, so the trend continues. Will it all change over time? That’s “probable”… but then again, I could hit another $100,000 Royal and extend this winning streak. Long term the House always wins, but that statistic is drawn off of 1,000,000,000,000 (1 trillion hands). Therefore, a player, in the short term, could theoretically play 2,000,000-5,000,000 hands in his “lifetime” and if they’re big enough wins relative to his small bankroll, could beat the long term odds in “the short term” for NOT having “played long term” (i.e. 1 trillion hands). It is entirely “possible” (though not theoretically probable) to beat the long term odds in video poker. And so far (for me) that is exactly what I have been fortunate enough to do. I would gladly “disclose” my losses but that would just piss everybody off because I have none. I may have a losing session, but unless that exhausts all my big wins, there are no losses. My next goal is the $40,000 Royal Flush. See you at the finish line.🌎
With all due respect, your wins were pure luck and luck only. The longer you play, the more you will revert back to the mean, or law of averages, and lose. Your video poker career consists of lottery-type, mega wins, which #1 are extraordinarily rare to do even once and you did it a few times (to the best of my knowledge) and #2 that put you far out on the winning curve of the spectrum so that you can play with house money for years, assuming you keep your play reasonable. I mean to think this guy is a VP guru, like SM, is just utter nonsense. SM plays horrible strategy. He too was very far out on the win spectrum with big ones, but those have likely dried up, because the YT videos are few and far between. Not much content when you aren't winning. These YT's are no different than any average to below average VP player going to the casino and filming their play. They certainly aren't advantage players, not even close.
There are “behind the scenes” strategies that go beyond the long term odds of the game that bear big fruit in the short term involving ratios that no one to my knowledge is aware of. And you’ll never see it or hear about it on TH-cam.😉🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker You are certainly welcome to practice and play however you see fit. But as long as the machines have a RNG, which I believe they do, the probability of a so-called due hand or EV is no different from machine to machine with the same paytable. Hey I love the game myself but know session to session it's mostly luck even playing close to perfect strategy
Artist working his craft 👍 Always a pleasure to watch. Thanks John!
Thank you, Jiro & Jazmin. Love you guys!❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Great video John. Jo & I are enjoying your series at Pala. 👍👍
Thank you, Mark & Jo. I appreciate that so much!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Great session John........,,,,,Quad nine's & sevens helps the bankroll. Straight definitely helps🤑🤑🤑🤑

Let’s go!! Perfect timing at the gym doing cardio and watching this 😅🍀
😁Thank you, Mason. Have a great workout!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Good luck. At 5:41, why did you throw away a pair of 7's? Are you only holding pairs of Jacks or Better?

i cant find part 1 will you please link thank you
That’s a great idea. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Nice you hit that quad to allow you to stay at two dollar denomination without opening your wallet and continuing to try for the royal!
Exactly!! And hopefully, as time goes on, there will be more to follow!
Nice to get the 9’s.
I don’t see Quad 9’s that often, but I like them when I do!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Nice 7’s!
I always take it as a good sign when Lucky 7’s show-up!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Yes Sir…Working on Pala Part 3 as we speak. Thank you for watching!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
U only lost 500 so far😂
I just hit a $20,000 Royal Flush at Pechanga (2 nights ago) off of a $500 bankroll, during a 4.5 hour session.😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
These guys are all a scam. They tout their wins but never disclose their loses. We all lose in the end.
