turn the volume all the way up while its on a laptop without any speaker. So all you can hear is just some mumbling. andd internet is crappy here so they prefer to use 240p, but still shown in fullscreen.
The “you can click anywhere but don’t do that, and put leave your cursor there” really hit home with one of my Highschool teachers who uses crash course most of his classes, and pauses them every 2 minutes.

Important: If the class made the slightest noise, read out a whole book on how that wastes time, wasting more time yourself. Then cut their break! Also, if you forgot the material needed by the class, protect yourself by saying "These things happen" and make one of the students go get it. Even if you didn't forget, it still works!
In college, one of my professors was able to draw the most perfect giant circle I've ever seen someone draw on a board. She later explained that she has a background on architecture, besides her degree in linguistics, but still...
Hauntingly accurate. It's ridiculous how it's not any different here in the Asian region. What do they even teach in one of those teacher training academies?! It's baffling...
Only school teachers from elementary to high school get formal teacher training. The closest thing professors get is practice giving dissertations/speeches on what they researched and some practice as a teaching/graduate assistant.
University professors don’t go to teacher training programs, only primary and secondary school teachers. At least in America. But I can’t imagine it’s much different elsewhere. I teach high school (secondary) and I spent a year getting my credential and another year getting my masters, so I can technically teach at the community college level. I’d probably be alright at it because I actually understand and utilize educational pedagogy. The only professors and instructors I have ever had who understood and used pedagogy to inform their teaching were in the education department.
You forgot to play the video but forget to plug in the sound. Then, instead of pausing the video, just let it play while you figure out the audio, end up missing half the video, and not bothering to rewind it.

the email part was funny but teachers can actually get into some pretty big trouble if students see staff emails. There is sometimes confidential info about students and other staff members, etc. So that's why they always freak out.

You forgot to make a joke about TH-cam autoplay starting the next video and freaking out the professor.
Ads are designed to promote products that relate to what the user is interested in lol..
In elementary school, my teacher had the autoplay on and it started playing "dont hug me I'm scared". My teacher and my 5 year old classmates all thought it was part of the previous video and didn't understand how autoplay worked. Luckily, I saw my brother watching it (and am still traumatized to this day) so I started freaking out and yelling at them to turn it off. They did after 10 seconds into the video. That teacher could have gotten fired if she let the video play in front of a bunch of 5 year olds

@@aureliuszeta3037 Yeah, you're probably right
Only school teachers from elementary to high school get formal teacher training.
The only professors and instructors I have ever had who understood and used pedagogy to inform their teaching were in the education department.
friarpark m that’s quite interesting, thanks!
