My Filipina friend from Benguet married to a Foreigner an IT base in Colorado then later on lost his job during the time he was in the Philippines the parents and
relatives of my friend provide and look after them of course it was not the same as in the US but one thing is evident that Filipinos are empathetic people they know how to reciprocate especially in times of need

For you guys to know... When Manny Pacquiao has a fight or competition. We all watch it LiVE. We stop EVERYTHING! Work, School or Classes, Fights, Laundry, Cleaning, Gossips etc. Even if we're at work. We watch it Live in TV and we stopped working just to watch.. Same at school. (This is actually allowed by the Managers, Supervisor, School Principals, Shop Owners etc.) We also have a TV in our Cover Courts in every Plaza in every Town and City. If our neighbors doesn't own a TV we let them watch. We only focus watching him fight. That's how supportive WE ARE....❤😊

The Jeepneys in the Philippines are currently being modernized. Francisco Motors Corporation, one of the leading Jeepney manufacturers over in the Philippines, have started to manufacture Electric Jeepneys, and also a Hybrid Hydrogen engine. I am a Filipino and whether I admit it or not, this Jeepney is a strong American influence on the Philippines. After all, until given Independence by President Roosevelt in 1946, the Philippines was once Philippine Islands, U.S.A. The Filipinos, say that the Americans are back, since there are as of the past 3 months, thousands of American Military troops, equipment, tanks, trucks, planes, helicopters have arrived in the Philippines, to use the 9 military bases all over the country.

I suddenly remember while watching this, in high school we have flag ceremony it started in 7:00 am from Mon- Friday. Each week junior- senior high have their turn in raising the flag and leading the flag ceremony.
It needed 4 people, 3 people tying and raising properly the flag called flag bearers, and the beater/ conductor leading the rhythm of the song. Its nerve wracking standing in front of everyone.
Including the teachers and principal early in the morning. The pressure of trying not to make mistakes and not laughing or smiling. One time we all got nervous because someone accidentally reversed the red and blue part of the flag.
Of course, the teachers quickly told them to fix it briefly. Almost, all students panick because we know that raising the flag in reverse means war.
They were criticize and taught to learn from their mistake. Actually, its not that bad. They were told by our teacher politely and nicely.

a day? No way! That means you’re just walking and out! 3-4 days if you want to check the stores and other amenities. In fact, there are condos next to the MOA (SM) and you can check out some airbnbs. It exhausted me when we tried to walk all over the mall lol one day was a fail.😂

Most Filipinos like me, maybe around 70% can speak their provincial/state language like Ilokano in my case, the official language, which is Tagalog, and the 2nd official language, which is English.
Small portion of the population, specially those half-Filipinos can speak a 4th language.

The joke about the malls are that they are so big so they can accommodate a large amount of people because air conditioning is free 😊. You will enjoy them because they have a lot of American brand stores. If you visit Manila check out BGC its the most modern city in metro Manila. Its like the US before all the crime and homelessness. 👍🏽

I have been to the Philippines and the people are warm and very welcoming. They love to sing, it is almost a mandatory requirement that everyone at a gathering gets involved and sings a song or three. The Filipino people are very hospitable and generous and will share what they have with you happily, even when they have little themselves. I would definitely recommend visiting the Philippines if you get the opportunity, you will not regret it. The only caution I could give is to follow any travel advice offered by your respective governments, while the Philippines is a beautiful place to visit and safe in most developed areas, it can be less so in less populated areas of the Islands, particularly in eastern Mindanao, where there is a lot of rebel faction activity.

I am a Filipino and I've had the opportunity to travel to other countries; and it's there that I saw the differences and appreciated my fellow Filipinos when it comes to hospitality. From workers to those in higher social statuses, you really appreciate your fellow Filipinos when you live in another country. I remember the first time I traveled... when I saw the city skyline near the airport... I couldn't help but tear up. It's still different when you're in the Philippines. Even if our neighboring countries may look down on us.❤😊

His numbers on the population density were wrong if you based it on the following data. City of Manila land area is 16.35 sq mile. Metro-Manila which comprises 16 Cities and 1 Municipality has a land atea of around 239 sq mile. City of Manila has a population of 1.9M while Metro-Manila is around 13.6M, so don't be confused.
