Outstanding video.I have to go with the MAMACOO, especially with that green dial as my favorite

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO

I have this on the OEM strap and it’s simply sublime. It’s checked off so many boxes for me. Thanks for the video, Tim!

The second they drop the fluted bezel I will buy this watch. Can’t stand how it looks like a “wannabe Rolex Datejust”

The second most handsome Omega watch after the Speedmaster. Perfect stealth luxury!

Outside of the Pie Pan dial this watch looks nothing like the original, just a Datejust Homage. Still a decent watch

It’s thick because of the coaxial escapement.
I own it and it doesn’t bother me the thickness at all.

The white dial really works with the design of the Constellation.

White dial over blue all day. But the platinum dial is the best

the coin edge bezel and overall thickness smack of Rolex too much. I have several vintage Omegas and all are thin, simple and elegant. Modern Omega needs to capture some of that mojo back before they really make a hit.

Do your vintage Omegas have coaxial escapements? Are they Metas certified? Are they at least 100 WR and 15000 gauss?

Beautifully executed, very nice looking, but too “clunky” for me. I have a vintage ‘66 Pie Pan Constellation in mint condition and it’s super slim and still keeps COSC accuracy. That’s my idea of a constellation!

The bracelet is way too chunky and it lacks any kind of micro-adjustment, even with a tool. I really wanted to like this watch but I just couldn’t get it to wear comfortably. Maybe I should try it on a strap.

It's definitely 39mm, and 47mm lug-to-lug. I know because I own and wear one since 2017 (SS blue dial on bracelet, but mostly worn on leather strap) 😊⌚

Just too big for 16cm wrist. Wish Omega would buy a shrinking machine.

It is a tad large if worn on bracelet (as Tim mentions). I bought my Globemaster in blue dial back in 2017 and on bracelet, but I have a very small wrist (14mm approx).
A year later, got the official blue leather strap, which pushes the lug-to-lug under 47mm, which is perfect!
It's a beautiful piece with lots of cool features, especially the stainless steel Observatory medallion inset into the exhibition sapphire caseback 🔭⌚

@@TheOneInYellow I love the watch, but (sadly) I’m a bracelet guy. Went to my AD and tried it on several times but just too big. Fingers crossed for future modification from Omega.

@@dwoodcoffeeco ah fair play, at least you tried it. I can still rock it on bracelet, as I also wear heavy silver jewellery on my wrists (my Globemaster is still in incredible condition, I just have a way of layering without damage).
However, in my opinion, Globemaster was designed for leather straps. If a revised bracelet could be made with no flaring near the lugs, and a comfort adjustment on the clasp, then that would be brilliant!
I'm quite surprised that the Globemaster line is still continuing since 2015, because other brands who launched interesting watches that year* are, sadly, discontinued.
(*such as Tudor North Flag, which I also bought a month before Globemaster in 2017).
Good luck on your watch journey, and I hope you continue to enjoy the horological hobby too! 💪🏽⌚🤘🏽

The dimensions work against the elegance of the piece. Same with the heritage seamaster 300 (combined with the awful fauxtina) which makes me look elsewhere.

@@TheOneInYellow absolutely agree re: the bracelet. My dream would be a 38 mm case with all of those bracelet mods 😊
