Man, seeing the Rainbow Tunnel gutted like that makes me feel like I just got my heart ripped out. RIP OG Rainbow Tunnel.
You sometimes wonder what the heck Disney was thinking when they got rid of this area.
They were wondering what the heck Kodak was thinking to suggest to remove it.
More great footage...props on having the guts to do this! It looks even worse than it did when I snuck up there in 2014. Oh, and love the adamthewoo reference when you were walking up the steps! Lol
@@RetroVintageDisneyDev1971 Yeah it's different now with that stupid lounge up there now. Before it was just empty semi abandoned space.
I wonder what happend to the rest of the track the ride used to be longer
@@stpworld I remember a cast member years ago told me the remaining track was apparently cemented over in the current Imageworks area downstairs.
At the 2:33 mark, that looks like the vent cover you used to be able to peek through to see the rainbow tunnel entrance (back in 2016) before they removed it! Thanks for posting this. :)

Yeah they removed it during the construction of the DVC lounge back in 2016.

Nolan I got lucky. I was just trying to find a restroom and found this instead. It was awesome! FYI, no restrooms upstairs, I had to leave lounge to use it then come back, but lucky for me I looked. Thanks!

Amtrakfan2009 it was really by accident. I was looking for the rest room at the DVC lounge upstairs when I found it.
does anyone know what kind of computers used to be there ?
I think they were called Magic Palette. I don’t know what brand of computer it was.
@@skylertubehd-disneyonthesp6537 it could have been macs just decorated for the play area they had apple at innoventions to for a while I got to do the rainbow tunnel a few times.
