If the up or down slope is 8%, 2% side slope and 4 paces what is the reading then for break? My real question is if the % are larger than on the card. Thanks.
Good question. 8% is an extreme slope - you won't find anything close to that near a pin location. The maximum slope you'll typically see around a pin location is 4% and that's quite rare - the superintendent probably made an error. If you're putting over a steep ridge, Green Cards won't be super useful. But luckily the vast majority of putts golfers face are not over ridges. Does that help?
@@why_golf i see on the green cards that you should feel the put 2/3rd of the way down? But shouldn’t we account for the most severe slope on the putt as a whole?
@@why_golf I recently got the putting set and it’s amazing! Can someone confirm that it’s legal to use in play? I know in the video he says something like, “…USGA approved cheating” but it works so well, I don’t even feel right about it. 😂 I’ve tried researching and I am not sure.
@@Papation We received word directly from the USGA that our Green Cards are USGA legal - including USGA events. You can absolutely use them with your friends, club championship, etc. However, some independent golf tours have their own rules (like the PGA Tour) that prevent players from using green reading materials - if you're in doubt check with a rules official.
