I am using the plate on a flat surface (carpet) and the plate is gradually spinning with every rep I take where the lead part of the plate is going right. I eventually have to reset it after 10 swings or so. Any insight as to why? Maybe weight shifting like you mentioned in the vid?

It could be because the spikes aren't penetrating the carpet - it needs to be soft carpet. Hope this makes sense. Thanks for the comment!

Your shifting your weight just like your suppose to. This whole fad of not shifting weight is getting out of hand. Everybody on tour shifts WEIGHT. Everytime you claim you didn’t shift weight you shifted “pressure” your center of gravity moved into your rear leg. You just didn’t shift it outside of the 90.

This can be true, however your weight and pressure can be moving in opposite directions. Think about a sprinter launching himself off the starting block. His weight is going forward towards the finish line yet his pressure is applied behind him into the starting block. Shifting pressure is a better thought in the golf swing so as to avoid swaying laterally from side to side. Just because I'm shifting pressure into my trail side doesn't necessarily entail that my weight is moving laterally into my trail side. Thanks for the comment.

@@why_golf the best players on earth have a weight and pressure shift. But I understand what your trying to avoid. No shift isn’t much better than too much shift IMO. Weight shift inside the 90 back and forth is great. Obviously not shifting off the ball on a PW etc..

Tour players shift perfectly, 90% of everybody else has little shift, in either direction, that’s why people barely break 100.

Huge difference when the board actually moves. The ground won't move which is why it's so difficult to duplicate
